DET published a list of free agents yesterday and one that stuck out to me as potentially a shrewd option is Jon Flanagan at rb. He’s 29 now so a little younger than some of the other players we’ve brought in, and was once well thought of at Liverpool as a yoof. What part of McLaughlin’s career history ( apart from being a pro footballer) makes you think a journeyman player who has knocked around the lower leagues at Oldham and Rochdale would improve the Rams ? Better off as we are than waste a wage on just having an extra player for the sake of it.
