Final year of his deal at Fulham. 186 mins of football last season, 0 goals/assists. Only 5 goals in 76 Championship games during the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons.

That’s why I hadn’t heard of him for so long

Quick update as lots has happened yesterday and overnight. Despite Knight close on a new deal DCFC are expecting 3-4 bids from Championship clubs and depending on figures etc he could go. My gut feeling is he’ll stay but honestly it’s 50/50. Also expecting late bids for Sibbo namely from Cov and Milwall. It’s deadline day and word through the grapevine is Derby are going to be extremely busy with incomings and outgoings. I’ve personally heard no names but for guesses I’d say Cybulski and Foulkes out on loan and a couple loanees brought in ot players in for frees similar to Collins. I’ll try update later but I’d strap in for today!

It would be ridiculous for us to sell Jason Knight and/or Sibley.

Both in fine form, we can't use their fees to spend on players, we are only limited to 2 loans coming in, so what would be the point?

I like to read your ITK posts but today I really hope your full of horse poo.

All fair points but we still have bills to pay and I would hate to see us lose Knight and Sibley but our new owner didn’t want to buy a football club because they are expensive to run especially when we owe payments on Belick and probably Jozwiak

let’s hope Knight and Sibley want to play at and for Derby County more than they do a current championship club and it’s a very mediocre championship at that.

That makes more sense based on his match action last season.

What would the point be in using up a loan just for the U23s? Seems an odd one. I know it wouldn’t effect the quota for the match day squad. Is there a limit on the loans a club does over the season?

8 on loan, max of 5 in the matchday squad.
It could be a youth loan, which doesn't count towards that quota, but then he wouldn't be allowed to play for the first team.
