Bring in much needed money for a player set to leave on a free in the summer, who we cannot offer a new deal too plus being able to keep him for the remainder of the season. Sparkle
The quality of his finish today and against Stoke were superb and if we were ever considering selling him we would be pretty stupid unless it was for an extreme amount of money - forest would be getting £12 million plus Oldben

I hope so, the daily mail does state he could come back on an 18 month loan too

Carl Sagan
This is sad news if so, but also brilliant business. To sign someone for the U23s at the start of the season, then get a million for him and have him loaned back for the rest of the season, when we are at risk of gong bust as a club. This money might keep us going long enough to get a sale over the line. Unfortunately this is where we are and we have to bring money in.
