He plays well for Poland, but somehow can't find any consistent form for us that would make anyone want to splash out anything approaching what we paid for him. He should be better, should be worth more, but regardless, anyone we sell now is part of a fire-sale and that's been the case since last September. We'll have paid most of his fee I'm sure - it had to be cleared by the EFL as we were under a soft embargo at the time and the payment terms would have been set out. There was talk from the Polish club of an installment being due in February. No more has been heard from them so I'd assumed that payments were up to date. Whatever is till owed to the Poles, you'd have to assume that the fee from the MLS club was primarily going towards funding the club until the end of the season, otherwise why talk of it being part of the plan put to the EFL?
