I was intimidating that they effectively liquidate us by their non committal attitude towards the two parasite clubs

I know what you were trying to say, because you keep posting it.

We already have at least one offer on the table that doesnt see that as an obstacle to the takeover. From everything we've heard on here the last few days its not the parasites that appear to be the problem

Nixon came back instantly and tweeted 'No no no … Appleby in frame if money is there …'

He had already said that one is now out....he corrected me by saying Appleby was still in and that means he is saying it is Ashley that is out. He had already said that Binnies are in tomorrow unless they have been interviewed in the last 24 hours

The one out he said (again) is Kirchener.

Look at Nixon's thread.

I tweeted 'I think Al is saying the Appleby bid is now out. Ashley is still in but also still to make a formal bid and so his funds still have to be proved. The Binnies are in tomorrow.'

We'll soon so hopefully how accurate he is.

If that's not clear, I can't help you any further.

Sorry mate you have completely got this wrong. He is referring to Kirchner being out & he doesnt say anywhere that the Binnies are in tomorrow

Don't get me wrong, if Ashley is the difference between survival and liquidation, I'd take him all day.

But I can't get my head around people saying they'd prefer him over Gatsby or Appleby. Newcastle fans might have inflated expectations, but the depth of feeling they had towards him doesn't just come from nowhere.

It comes from their expectations that Newcastle should be the team of the mid 90s and competing at the top. This rightly or wrongly placed idea of ‘grandeur’ seems to be at big clubs who haven’t done anything in a long time like Newcastle, Everton, Villa

Has Billy Sharpe now entered the race and put a bid in ?

I was sat next to him again this afternoon. He never mentioned it. Although I’m too scared to tell him I’m a Derby fan in case he chins me!

Is that the great Gatsby you are referring to?

When the music stops Ashley will be sitting in the chair, and McClaren will be sniffing round him, but at all times denying he has any interest in Rooney’s job.

No, Kirchner is out.

Kirchner withdrew his formal bid weeks ago. Nixon said the other one had not made a formal bid yet and was there today with Appleby but was now out. If Kirchner had come back in then by the fact there were only three in this morning then Ashley was not in the process at all. In his reply Nixon did not correct my assertion that Ashley was not the third party. I'm sure he would have done if I'd got that wrong too.still  I think that if Kirchner had come back to the table then he himself would have let us know by now but Appleby outbid him weeks ago and he dropped out.

Are you sure he wasn't referring to Kirchner being out.

It wasn’t just about performance on the pitch though. It was things like letting the training ground pretty much fall to bits.

Also, any owner hiring Steve Bruce for a Premier League job in the last five years deserves to be hung, drawn and quartered for crimes against football.

Nixon has decided to confuse everyone by saying one is out like it’s a new development when he was just on about Kirchner. But it got people engaged in his tweets and that’s basically all he wants

To be fair he was asked if the bidders were unknown to the EFL to which he replied saying the EFL had met 2 bidders, 1 of which is now out which he went on to confirm again he was on about Kirchner.
