"The EFL have granted Quantuma, administrators of Derby County, an additional 28 days to show evidence of a proof of Fermat's last theorem, resolve the uncertainty principle of electron microscope observation and a definitive answer to the very reasonable questions raised by the EFL, including how long a piece of string is. In the immediate future, the pressing issue is a matter of all the tea in China."

They want us gone so they can change the rules, and we will have no redress

1  no team can sue the EFL

2  Failing FFP no points deduction for Gibsons boro again

Parry you and you not fit for purpose cronies may want us gone, surely it will be you lot gone aswell, doubt if you will save your own skin when the enquiry takes place.

All being well Derby council, business leaders alongside Rolls royce, Toyota etc will be able to take court action, against the EFL for their incompetence over this long drawn out saga, down too mental health issues and business loss of earnings, destroying the town and villages  if we are liquidated.

The EFL cronies will soon be furtively working on how to alter ambiguous rules, which they have interpreted in such a way as to maximise and extend (what someone else correctly called) DCFC's 'rolling punishment regime'. Two years of hell!

For EFL cronies seeing this, do note that we will campaign for total reform, come what may - starting with hounding out Parry. Birch, Risdale and the Middlesbrough gump. They must be gone by the end of this season, whatever shape Derby County is in.

Derby is bidding to be City of Culture 2025; doubt and concern in the minds of the bid judges, over the fate of the city's largest venue, will have been provoked by the EFL's procrastination, deferrals and 1st Feb Rams' 'solvency' deadline.

I suspect that, as bid award decisions are to be made within a few weeks, the damage may have been done already - City Council action against the EFL may not then be out of the question. The negative impact on the city could be huge.

Fans (via SCG and combined action) should submit mental health damages claims to the three adversaries (MFC, WW, EFL) - these claims would be no more nebulous and undefined than the MFC & WW 'systematic cheating' declarations of the parasite clubs and the unproveable effect  of DCFC rule-breaking on the League positions of those parasite clubs.

EFL, Boro and Wycombe should find themselves on the wrong end of legal action by fans, council, maybe the Club itself and all avenues can be explored. As Patti Smith says, 'People have the power, to redeem the work of fools!'

This is fast becoming like one of those all too rare occasions when the missus suggests an early night, and, no matter how hard you try, no conclusion can be reached.  Except of course there are only two parties in that bed instead of between 5 and 10 to satisfy in this one.  The other difference is that in the former circumstances you roll over and go to sleep, leaving her to her own devices.  With DCFC that isn't an option and it goes on and on until one party or the other dies....... while the ever running cameras of the EFL film it all but do bugger all else..

Normally i'd agree with that, But i'd wager someone would come along and question the contradictory wording i've put..."normally i'd agree with that"

We're all desperate for the club to be saved, so a deadline extension buys us time. This is good.

But it does beg the question, if all of this can be resolved in the space of 28 days, where was the urgency before now?

What has everyone involved actually been doing up to now? What suddenly becomes possible in 28 days that they have been unable to achieve in the previous five months?

It's becoming a saga. To my mind, if the people involved had been proactive and responsible, this could have been resolved before now.

Sadly, I think self-interest trumps all in this case, and it's very sad for us, the fans and the wider footballing community.

We were a football team before there was a football league. So maybe we were playing with ourselves then too.

Leaving her 'to her own devices' sounds ominous and unsatisfying. Won't the buzzing sounds disrupt sleep, until the batteries fade?

?

Buzzing? Word has it, that the device is powered by a Briggs & Stratton two stroke motor, batteries just couldn’t cope.
