I thought that fate rested with the other 71 clubs in the EFL.

100% correct, the EFL could sell this 2 ways though before they put it to the vote...  Everything negative, Derby been clever cheating the system deserve to be punished et al.

They could also say, Derby County have been found in breach of FFP rules, which have since been clarified with a rule change to ensure thier is a level playing field.

Notwithstanding this, the previous owner amassed huge debts, which has led to a justified transfer embargo to address the balance.

This has to Derby Counties detriment made their financal situation worse by not being able to resign existing players and led to talented youth players being sold to balance the books.

The EFL stands by its decisions as we need to enusure there is integrity in fair competition and the sustainability of football clubs in the future.

The fans of Derby County have had no control of a reckless owner, the clubs current situation is sad for all involved in the EFL, its members and fans to see.  We therefore strongly recommend that Starting life in Division 2 be an appropriate place.  Non league football clubs would simply not be able to host Derby's away fans, nor would they cope with their soending budget.

Considering all of the facts, the EFL is here to preserve the longevity of football clubs and strongly supports Derby County being admitted to Lg2 and asks all of the EFL members to support this decision....

Has anyone checked that quantuma are a legitimate business and are still actively trading and still operating at the club, rather than pocketing the proceeds from the sales of Kellyman and Plange and sodded off on an all expenses paid trip to Benidorm? They do seem alarmingly quiet.

After Mels track record with Gabay, Samuelson and Alonso it wouldn't suprise me if Mel got the number for Quantuma from the small ads at the back of the Sunday Sport.

Dear Rick

Too late fella. Your support, whilst appreciated, should have come over a year ago. Your crawling now doesn’t stop us from thinking you’re an idiot running a useless organisation

Yours

Or from a phone box in a seedy part of Nottingham. For hire, pay by the half hour, specialise in off-loading … , nothing too big or too small, a proper business with lots of satisfied and happy clients

They're definitely a real company, they popped up on the BBC News app earlier this week, as the administrators of a company which has been accused of stealing it's, mainly, disabled workers pension contributions and furlough money.

Quantuma refused to comment, when asked.

The most concerning thing is that in the last 3 weeks or so neither Percy or Nixon have had their opinion on the matter. Might be because the admins have uncovered the mole but more likely it’s because there’s nothing to report. Just deathly silence.

I’d think Q were MSD’s advisers, initially. Can’t imagine MSD would allow MM’s crew to take the tiller

The EFL are the mole. Q haven’t reported anything to them for a while.

Really?

Technically that's tri-dimensional chess. I'm no expert though, as I'm more of a dabo man myself.

I have to admit that I didn't know that 3d chess was a real thing. I searched with increasing horror this morning as I uncovered all the ridiculous ways people have attempted to butcher the game of chess. It's the same feeling I get when someone says the cricket is on and it turns out to be The Hundred.
