StaffsRam
Just now, Gritstone Ram said: The Middle Borough statement has a change of direction in it regarding the sale of the stadium. If we were found of no wrongdoing by the EFL why are the EFL letting them pursue us with the sale of the stadium? It doesn’t make sense. Because the tail can’t wag the dog, so the EFL are as impotent as limp-d*ck Larry.
TuffLuff
I think Gibson’s latest comments remind somewhat of Mel’s tenure here Innocent people don’t need to make repeated and continued lengthy statements telling everyone why they think they are innocent ? Stive Pesley
If only the EFL had a spine and had said from the outset to it's member clubs: The punishment for failing FFP/P&S IS the punishment. As per our clear rules on points deductions, fines etc There is no avenue for other members to start suing each other as additional punishment. This is not allowed That should be in the EFL rule book If you murder a postman, you get sent to prison for life. That's the punishment The people who didn't get their post delivered that day don't get to line up and punch you in the face too Indyram, robglosta, DCFC1388 and 7 others 8
RadioactiveWaste
3 minutes ago, BriggRam said: Are we allowed to say Collusion now It does seem like the EFL's desire to"make an example of someone" over FFP has the convenience of being the club of someone who rattled the EFL and avoiding the action taken against them by a member club... ...it's really inconvenient that Derby have fought their position to the best of their ability and the wrongdoing that they've been able to demonstrate is limited and not without raising problematic questions about the EFL's governance. So for the EFL it's now a case of exploiting the weakness of being in administration.

JfR
1 minute ago, AndyinLiverpool said: I don't understand this The Boro fan is disputing that Boro's claim for compensation is "massive" - i.e. the £40m-odd that has been reported - saying that that's been discredited. Nixon is saying that the information he has heard from his source is that it is a substantial claim, and that he trusts that his source is accurate. Got to love that even Nixon sees the Wycombe claim as chasing an ambulance. Does make you wonder, if MFC weren’t also involved, would the EFL have just told Wycombe to **** off. Short of the government actually forcing something to happen, which in a democracy is very rare (and almost certainly a good thing) The MPs don't have a lot of power over this, just a very visible position and ultimately the decision to reform football governance, but that is way to far away to help us.
