So, There's an egg in the nest and 2 humming birds hovering, Admins are still coining it, Major movement expected imminantly after Gibson took a dose of syrup of figs, Handwringing as the EFL expecting Oliver too have knicked more silk hankies, And Gibson finally came thro and shat himself to peices.

A long respected poster like @Bald Eagle's Barmy Armyputting his reputation on the line.

Love to see it, just when I thought Monday was going to pass by with nothing happening.

With all due respect to @Bald Eagle's Barmy Army, I don't think he's actually once said he knows anything. Just optimism and personal opinion. Read his posts again.

Are you sure you are correct? Have you seen their cases? I thought Middlesbrough were claiming compensation for their lost income? If we’d been punished more harshly and found guilty of things we’d been cleared of then it wouldn’t alter their income. Also, if that truly is their case then they definitely be going after the EFL. Derby didn’t decide on the punishment or make a ruling on the cases.

Their last statement suggested there's something as well as the amortization issue that we're 'guilty' of. Given their previous intervention (trying to force their way onto the appeal against us) was mostly about the stadium sale, it's reasonable assumption that this is what they're still moaning about. We've been completely cleared of that. And even if it's a different issue, the EFL rules are very clear that only the EFL can open disciplinary cases, so there's no standing for them to accuse of us of doing something else.

The compensation they want for lost income *is* the additional punishment.  What else could it be? The power to award a sum of money as punishment  is one that the appeal panel had, and chose not to use in this case.
