Ellafella
Let’s keep flogging this dead horse. I think I saw the tail move towards the end of the first half versus Huddersfield. Then the opposition moved a midfielder back 10 yards and we died again. But tomorrow maybe if we flog it even harder, the horse may stand up ...again. Patience please ... it may yet live! Edtheram
Marshall Byrne Davies Clarke Buchanan Shinnie Knight Waghorn Lawrence Jozwiak Kazim 5 at the back makes us a more solid side but isn’t helpful if we’re going to attack better so I’d go back to the 4-2-3-1. Also neither Wisdom (still unfit) and MTW (settling) look ready yet, also Evans injured. let the 3 behind the striker interchange and cause some confusion. Let Kazim use his presence as a no.9 from the off. No Bird for me as we need some more experience in a game like this, I also think once Bielik is back for he will struggle to break into the side. lets go get 3 points, show people what we can do and what (in the past) we have done. Lawrence winner would be great

We might finally get to see a midfield 3 of Knight, Bird and Sibley... that could be a combination for years to come if we get them playing well together for the 1st team. They regularly ripped up U23/18 teams. Not a chance. too inexperienced. Bird for me is poor currently and doesn’t deserve at starting spot. sibley has been injured and has more of an affect coming on as a sub as he’s not marked out of the game. knight has to start but not with those 2. Has to be Shinnie and Bielik when he’s back
RYRAM
massive this. Van der MoodHoover
These matches usually drag the form of each side down a couple of notches. God knows what sort of treat the viewing public are going to get served up this evening then.......?

May Contain Nuts
5 hours ago, RYRAM said: we must shoot. shoot on bloody sight boys. Indeed 10x 50 yard pea rollers straight at the keeper = 10 shots on target. It doesn't matter if they're awful shots with 0.002% chance of going in, it'll improve our all important shots per match stat which in the eyes of many on here seems to be the absolute measure of attacking intent. We'd better not actually try to beat the keeper though, we'd risk shooting off target, which as we all know doesn't count as attacking intent. Waghorn is definitely better out wide. There's also, of course, the worry of Davies & Clarke being completely done for pace on the breakaway, or fewer passing options for Davies leading to him giving the ball away more readily. Also Buchanan has impressed as a LWB, but looked a lot more shaky as a straight up LB - if we go with 4 at the back I can see Forsyth coming back in (although he hasn't exactly looked solid)
Tyler Durden
Still can't believe how we couldn't manage to put one goal against Hamer. Things must be getting bad if we are gifting him a clean sheet. Knowing his performances for us it's criminal we did nothing to put him under the slightest bit of pressure whatsoever.
