Experience, and one of the best performing right backs in the league both offensively and defensively on his stats last season. For £750k, absolute bargain. Sadly we had to sell a gifted up and coming before he reached his prime but if we sign a ready replacement with some good years in hi , of equal ability - on the day - and pocket a difference of what ? Circa 4 million for the coffers, then That has to be a good thing when weighed against championship finances and the mess that is this league.
