  1. First of all, for any rivals who come onto this platform. Don’t read ahead, This topic is just talking about how he’s a poor player.

Now hopefully any rival clubs/fans have clicked off - What a talent.

He’s got such a bright future ahead of him, made me emotional re-watching his goal.

I can see him being pivotal in keeping us up, and next season, whether we do stay up or not.

I genuinely don’t say this that often but this lad could really make a name for himself here, he’s a bagsman. his hold up play is brilliant for a young lad, and will only get better!

His work rate for me is top bins and I really feel like he’s gonna grow into a fantastic player - WR said we aren’t going to be selling, and if he can keep up the way he plays throughout the rest of the season then my God, we’re either in the money, or have a brilliant talent on our hands for next season (hopefully the latter!)

  2. Unfortunately am unavailable to attend this match - but seen we’ve sold so so many tickets.

I hope everyone there makes it be known that we are one of the greatest clubs in history.

I hope that any prospective buyer sees what we’re capable of, and sees that we are Derby, we are a family who support each other through thick and thin, we are one force, and we are more powerful than any obstacle that we may face.

    COYR.

& I hope we also help support Birmingham City’s cause, they’re not far off the situation they find themselves in with corrupt and crooked owners. Let’s all unite together wherever you may be and stick it to those whom want to see us fail.

  3. I can’t believe it, really.

The team up against it all, the chaps that are fighting to keep a smile on the faces of everyone in and around the club, are the ones who I have felt closest to as a fan.

That might not make sense, but the lads that go out there and give it their best for 90 minutes in the first team, the 23’s, 18’s, to me, are the most likeable that we’ve had in a long long time.

Saw that post about Festy Ebosele earlier, dare I say it it made me feel rather emotional.

We have a bunch of players who are the most ambitious, determined, down to earth players that we’ve ever had at this club, and it kind of makes me sad that the season I have felt this way has ultimately been this season. I wish and I hope that we don’t lose any more of these fantastic chaps that we have at this football club.

I thank Rooney, Rosenior, Walker and co, for keeping fighting, for staying grounded, determined, and battling against the odds but honestly, this set of lads that we go out in our numbers and support, are the most genuine, honest and most likeable we’ve had at Derby County football club in such a long time.

I really really hope we can retain the vast majority of these past this season.

I think regardless of circumstance come May, come Cardiff @ home, we can look back and see that every single individual at this club, the players, the staff, the fans, have all shown us who they are deep down, and have shown commitment, ambition, determination. The three most important characteristics.

Be proud of yourselves, and keep fighting against all odds.

  4. Just got off the phone about half an hour ago with a mate of mine.

He was very heavily believing that Mike Ashley will submit his bid this week.

No doubt, there will be doubters, and I understand and respect that, I don’t want to give false hope at all, although from what I’ve heard it does seem positive, even if it isn’t him who gets the status of “preferred bidder”.

Like I say, I don’t want to give false hope, so take this comment with a pinch of salt, but it looks like good news is on the horizon.

    Keep the faith Rams.?

I said yesterday - I feel confident that we will find our way out of this, and today I feel the same way.

    Let’s keep going. COYR.

  5. Late night thought:

Today I’ve felt the most optimistic about our future as a club as I have in a long while.

Will be over the moon with whoever takes us over (I really do hope it is Ashley though - I know that might be controversial)

Hope, and believe deep down that there will continue to be Derby County, and I can’t wait for this all to be over with.

The game against Brum should be brilliant, really looking forward to it.

    COYR??

  6. @B4ev6is, I hope you are ok mate.

Look, I know times are tough right now, and the future of the club is unfortunately uncertain.

I’m not really too active on here, but whenever I log on to here I see you’re always showing your passion and ambition and love for this club, and I can promise you now that you are doing an awesome job of dealing with all of this.

I hope that you understand that no matter what, whether we survive all of this, or unfortunately end up with a phoenix club, that your passion for Derby is one that I hope is replicated amongst all of our supporters.

But for now, keep the faith, keep strong my friend. Keep supporting this club with all of your heart and keep being you. God bless you and I hope and pray that everything will be ok in the end.

    COYR?

  7. Hoping I can speak for the majority of fans when I say the following:

Whoever in their right mind is willing to even consider buying a football club in a poor state, never mind the state that Melvyn Morris left us in, earns my respect completely.

Whether it be the Binnie family, whether it be Appleby and co. Whether it will be Mike Ashley, or whoever else, Thank you.

Thank you for wanting to turn this football club around, get us out the pooper, and allowing us to continue to be a football club.

Whoever takes over, I hope they understand that they will be supported by one of the greatest fanbases in England (And yes, that may be biased, although the support we have shown for this club, throughout the poo that we’ve been through, is genuinely surreal).

I hope that whoever it is who buys us, understands how much this football club means to it’s staff, it’s fans, and it’s local community, and I hope that whatever may happen, that we will have our Derby County to enjoy, to allow us to take our minds out of reality, to allow us that safe space away from demons one may face in the real world, to allow us to be able to rally together, have a bloody good laugh and a good time, and to ultimately support this fantastic, amazing, bloody stressful club.

Come On You Rams. Let’s make ourselves known these next two games, let’s show the world what Derby COUNTY is all about, and what an honour it would be for anyone to own a football club with such appreciative and passionate supporters.

  8. “I was told this morning (Wednesday) that Ashley is quite happy to go to the wire with making an offer as long as there is a reduction in the debt from the tax debt that is owed as well as from the administrators with regards to the creditors as well.

Again, Ashley is a shrewd businessman so it is hardly surprising this is something, or certainly a way of operating in terms of getting more value for the money he is willing to invest.

It is still quite a dangerous strategy, more for Derby than it is for Ashley, because of course he can probably take it or leave it, though it is clear he likes the prestige and profile of owning a football club.”

Transfer Window Podcast (Ian McGarry & Duncan Castles)

  9. The administrator believe they have attracted the maximum amount that can be salvaged for creditors from current interested parties and that finding money to settle MFC and WWFC claims will make the departure from administration unachievable which would make liquidation likely.”

This in itself is worrying as owt.

Heart says we’ll be OK. We’ll find a solution and get out of this.

    Head says, well, we’re ducked.

Jumble of thoughts really from me, but IF the EFL, Wycombe, Boro allow us to basically cease to exist due to non football creditors - They’ve buggered it too. Can imagine HMRC, and other creditors taking action against them three if they aren’t able to get atleast 25p to the £1 for what they are owed.

  10. 2 minutes ago, Simmo’s left foot said:

Lets all just calm down, ignore dubious stuff on twitter, and wait for official statements from the club.

Like we’d hear anything from them.

Quantuma just spout the same old poo over and over again.

    ”We’re making good progress”

”We expect a preferred bidder to be in place in the next *uses random number generator* days”

Meanwhile they are racking up a hefty bill and keeping the fans of our club worrying.
