I don't think the velodrome brings the same levels of polarised opinions. I bet most people think, Meh.

Football though, makes some people think about overpaid prima donna's, about too much exposure on TV, about hooliganism in the 80s, about tribalism. And there's lots of people who just think it's a waste of money.

I don't see a council risking peeing off all the people who don't like football, that's all.

Derbys a football city, if someone doesn't like football they'll have 10 relatives and friends who go to the games.  They'll be chuffed that for once the moneys being used for something other than poo and it may actually make a return after a few years.   See my earlier post. No opposition will complain as it's likely to make them far more unpopular in Derby than popular.

Yes, yes, I know who it is.  and then there's this line from him too:

So Rush is still sniffing around, part of the Appleby group, if I'm not mistaken? Interestingly enough, they also have a former Ram on their about page - Matt Oakley.

Really detesting football nowadays.  Every decent 15-17 getting nicked for bugger all.  This would make it 7-8 in 12 months. Future club or not, the academy will become a pointless exercise on income to expenditure.

I can understand exactly why Mel might be willing to sell the stadium to DCC for a lower price than to a potential buyer of the club - because it would be effectively enabling a public body to take ownership of a community asset for less than half its value rather than a potential asset-stripper who could immediately flip the stadium ownership to a third party for a profit.

I assume that was mooted with them in a meeting a couple of months ago.  He'll have to deduct the 170 k he hasn't paid them.

This seems like forests version of our 2014 team.

A lot more loan players, they haven't won 7 in a row yet or got 84-86 points. Their not as good. They score goals though.  If they get in the playoffs can only really see Boro bothering them, especially if that fullback they rave about isn't available.  Bet he could play for Boro, that would be a giggle.  Makes me wonder why Boro didn't take him back on recall.  Maybe something to do with the 17 million in tax they haven't paid yet . Bloody cheats.

So that will make Bird unavailable for the next 3 games. It’s funny how we judge different players in our team. Lawerence got dogs abuse for his red card and the impact he caused by being banned for 3 games but the reaction to Max feels quite different. I’m not sure if that’s because there is a general perception that Max is a ‘nicer’ lad than TL or because he came through the academy, maybe it’s his age ( he’s played plenty of games at this level though). For the record I don’t advocate either of them being vilified but the outcome has been exactly the same.

Basically Birds was an attempted tackle and Lawrence was a deliberate stamp in temper over lack of a free kick.  That makes all the difference to me .

Festy really limited on the left, great opportunity to play Lawrence or Plange in and tries the most difficult option on his right foot and underhits it and the move breaks down

Just about to say.  If he's not utilising the correct foot at pace there's no point playing him really.

For all we know, Mel could still be meeting the repayments on the ground, after all he owns it.

Probably or he defaults.  However, despite it being his issue and asset to lose he wants any new buyer to cover the last 6 months payments by adding back rent to the list.

What annoys me is that with all the ITK bullpoo being progressed and pure opinion being touted as fact I asked a question earlier which was are there any legal timeframes to a club being in administration when there's no real prospect of a buyer being found and still waiting for a reply.....would assume people are happy to progress speculation rather than replying with facts.

I'm thinking it's 12 months and it can run over one season to another. The legislation was changed in a rush when Ken Bates amended his offer for Leeds last minute and held up any Sale thereby completing a few weeks into a new season- not allowed before then.  At that point the supporters so keen on our liquidation for breaking the rules should have been thrown out the league.  The money is likely to be long gone before then though, unless we complete a sale or find 20 million in sales from the few players left under contract to get a load of frees, loans and wages to pay them.  We won't survive till September regardless unless something drastic occurs basically.

  9. 1-1.  Players totally pissed off and losing momentum and worrying about injury. Preston not giving a poo as their not up or down. Supporters hardly watching the game as they all jointly sing about Kirchner being a ' chancer' followed by Derby fans singing about how much they love Morris, the EFL and the admin for the next 80 mins.  Goalposts to be taken home at the end like that Scotland England game years ago. At least 10 pitch invaders amongst scenes that require Benny Hill music as people chase after them .

The more I listen to the rhetoric coming from Quantuma the more I'm convinced that there is more chance of us being liquidated than there is of a new owner being found willing to pay what Q want.

How are Q arriving at what they think is fair price for the club?

If the club was to be liquidated this very minute, what money would Q be able to offer to the club's creditors?

What as the club stands today are it's actual assets? Rightly or wrongly I assume that the main assets are the players that will still be under contract at the end of the season. What the fees that could be obtained for these players is very subjective. Meaning any money raised could be far less than Q thinks they could get from their sale.

So why are Q not willing to accept one of the offers presently tabled? Wouldn't an offer that is more than the clubs current assets, be more acceptable to the creditors than what they would receive through the club being liquidated.

While the sale of the ground may muddy the water for any potential buyer. Surely the sale of the stadium is a matter that can only be resolved between the new club owner and morris and should have no baring on what the administrators are doing.

Not if we liquidate.  They can go elsewhere contract or not as the business isn't there to pay them.

I've selected a few from the heavy rock genre which, in some cases, would not be the most obvious...

    AC/DC - Touch Too Much

    Ozzy - Flying High Again

    Black Sabbath - Wishing Well

    Aerosmith - Combination

    Kiss - Take Me

    Ted Nugent - Venom Soup

    Iron Maiden - Total Eclipse

Motorhead - The Chase is Better than the Catch

    Whitesnake - She's a Woman

    Scorpions - Make it Real

    Hendrix - Fire

    Styx - Great White Hope

Strange that Uli Roth from The Scorpions has probably played their song on the guitar that Hendrix played the next song on your list.
