Are you his dad or something? Nobody is being 'bullied'. Football is a results business and believe me if he had performed well consistently he would be first on the teamsheet

I don’t pretend to be anything other than cud chewing fan who’s watched football quite a lot. I saw the highlights of his headed goal on his debut. Thought, “he looks right”. Knew about position and timing a run; well done - Another handy academy product. Then his first game at PP. Never ever seen a young lad so composed and panic free under extreme pressure. Then add in the most important thing for a defender…. He can tackle .. clean and hard. Bonus points because he doesn’t hoof it. He can control a ball and play a 2 yard pass. Double bonus, he’s as strong as an Ox. The treble bonus he doesn’t give up or dive in or have hissy fits. Oh ! and to top it all .. he cares, the game and the fans and the club it’s his power reserve. Get us up Eiran and reap the rewards - whatever they are you’re a real star in the making with a great career in front of you.

In the 1960s Reg Mathews would have done much worse for us and got away with it

I'm enjoying everything that comes out from Clowse and Rosenior at the moment. Stability, integrity, progress. Values were should all be able to get behind given their total absence from the previous regime.
Rosenior taking about the right culture and football philosophy. Recruiting based on character and fit to the playing style. All this should be applauded and will hopefully pay dividends if we stick to it.
I hope it clicks into place but important to see this as a longer term project and manage our expectations accordingly. Saying that, it's exciting to see us have this fresh start and feel optimistic that we can have a bright future.

More the kind of guy who it's good to have on the coaching team as that "heart, soul, drive, spirit" person.

Our current team is a better team than last season

I am hugely looking forward to seeing Rosenior as the new manager. That said, I just hope the crowd gives him plenty of slack.
There’s been a huge amount of optimism over the last few days and I worry that may translate into a less supportive atmosphere if we don’t hit the ground running.
We need to be patient and ensure we back the team like we did last year, when there was only zero expectation.

If CK hasn't paid the players, we would all know as EFL charges would identify the suspended 3 points deduction has been activated.....
So tiresome!

Cashin is the real deal, a proper footballer. A failure to sign him up would be a massive mistake.

sunnyhill60 reacted to Ambitious in Wayne Rooney
I was no Rooney fan when he became manager, really struggled with what we produced last season and felt that he got the job based on an owner who was checked out and needed the PR boost to sell the club. The whole thing stunk and before the season I had us down, that's prior to the knowledge of any point deductions or transfer embargos and everything else we've suffered.
I would've been wrong, even with the transfer embargo, plus his conduct has been nothing but exceptional. He's brought players on, development players at an extremely high rate and managed to build an environment for players to develop correctly in an environment no player should ever have to play in. I don't think you can give him enough credit for that, honestly, especially when you look at the squad we have.
Now, providing a takeover happens, I only want him here if we are giving him the tools to succeed. If we aren't in a position to do that then I hope he finds a good job for him to thrive. He's earned that much.
Regardless of what happens, I just wish him well. I'd love to see him go to the very top!

Thought he was poor until Ebosele went off and after that he was very good. Realised a lot of that was Ebosele's fault!

sunnyhill60 reacted to Day in Please don't go on the pitch tomorrow.
There has been social media campaigns to see fans on the pitch. Bringing attention to our dire situation.
Going on the pitch tomorrow will only hurt the club, as in the staff, management and players.
Quantuma, EFL, will not have a sleepless night.
We are in desperate times, I understand, feel the frustration and anger.
I have created this topic using my own voice, my own thoughts with no communication from anyone at the club in the hope it keeps some fans off the pitch.
Just one fan, using his own voice asking you all to stop and think.
There has to be better ways in letting our voices be heard without affecting the team.
So far this season, the one positive we can take is the support for this club, it's been second to none.
There is one man tomorrow that deserves that same level of support, one man that does not deserve to see his remaining games abandoned for crowd trouble.
Wayne Rooney.
Come on Derby!

It doesn't matter who takes over, what they pay, or how they pay it.
We'll be there at the end of the season, cheering on our miraculous survival and tying down our youngster's to new deals, when Russia will drop a Nuke on Rolls-Royce nuclear a few hundred yards up the road, triggering off World War III.
It's the Derby way.

sunnyhill60 reacted to Alty_Ram in Who has Rooney improved as a player MK2
Maybe (and particularly given his recent revelations) Rooney has a bit more empathy with players who have had a few challenges in their personal lives. Probably figured that some responsibility and focus might help Tom keep his head on football matters.
