Can't it be a testament to all three of them? A testament to the whole defence, in fact the whole team including Wildsmith. 
 

It's a pretty major issue for a series when you kill off by far the best character at the end of the first series….

This is another example of why my love for the game becomes a little more tarnished.
I’m proud of the fact that I have become an old-fashioned bitter football fan and I have no idea of what is happening in the first division, nor do I have any idea on who is still in Europe.  I don’t even know what the format of the European competitions are nowadays, and I really don’t care.  It’s all predicated on greed for the biggest clubs and every rule appears to be geared towards maintaining an “elite”.
I looked at the England squad not so long ago, and it had a number of players who I had never heard of.
I love Derby County and not much more, to be honest.
I love the fact that in the lower divisions, there are probably 16 or so teams at the start of the season who think that, if things go well, this could be their year.  However, that gap is becoming wider and wider each year due to the top echelons being governed by greed.
The fact that so many teams are going so close to the wire and getting points deductions is down to fear of slipping off the gravy train therefore eye watering amounts of money creates eye watering amounts of greed.
For me, a top level footballer should earn a maximum of what a CEO or a doctor would earn.  Why should they be earning that sort of money a week?  And why shouldn’t they get another job after they have retired?
Anyway, the FA Cup used to be a flagship event that everyone used to watch.  Everyone who is around my age will have seen Coventry Vs Tottenham and can probably list a good number of players from each side that day - they were very special occasions.  Now, the competition is dying a death of a thousand cuts, where it’s now just an irritant to the big teams, who will inevitably win it.  I don’t even know who is the current holder, but I think it is monopolised by of a tiny handful of teams.
Anyway, apologies for my rant.

If the PL don't want replays, perhaps they can agree to forfeit the right to progress in the competition if they don't win the tie. Win and you're through, lose or draw and the non-PL team progresses - if two PL teams play each other they can toss a coin for all I care.....(which is an appropriate method given that this decision has shown them to be a bunch of tossers)....

I don't watch a huge number of TV ads - normally record stuff and then fast-forward through the ads...
Radio ads however are a whole level of annoyance higher:
"Do you have more than £8000 in unsecured debts? get an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) with us - warning this MAY affect your credit rating" - no, it'll screw your credit rating forever....
"Sell your unwanted Gold, Silver, platinum & palladium - post it to us and we'll pay you next day" - I'm sure you will, but the chances of getting a fair price are pretty damn remote....and how many folk will ask them to return their items?
"If you've been the victim of a scammer, the system has failed you" - no it hasn't, you've been a knobby and sent money to someone dodgy despite the system warning you to check if they're kosher.....
"If you owned a diesel car between...." - ARGHHHHHHHHHHH
 

Could be a spectacular own goal from the PL & the FA - goverrnment now demanding answers and Starmer apparently also not happy with them. In an election year that could speed up the introduction of the new regulator far more quickly than the authorities anticipated.....

Hugely entertaing sprint qualy in the rain, but I'm getting really sick of the jobsworth stewards interferring with every race:
1. if the drivers are struggling to keep their cars on the track, what's the point of enforcing track limits? - they're clearly not gaining an advantage by going wide on a corner...
2. If you ARE going to enforce track limits, don't then decide when to and when not to on the fly.....

We just about made it to the end of the first episode of Passenger  - after a brief discussion ("that was crap"; "yes it was") we deleted the series link - pleased to hear we made a wise choice 😁

As I replied, yes an achievement. Done with some of the League's best players and best paid players. Oh, well not yet done, so probably scraped in. An achievement though.

What a brilliant night! Dan (B4) and Angie Vallance received the Alfreton supporters award.  I almost missed it as I was in the loo 😂 the glass award is lovely and will have pride of place in my parents house. The players looked visibly touched when it was announced Dan and Angie were being awarded posthumously. It was lovely to see so over 200 people there to celebrate DCFC and those who love the club. I had no idea what to expect but it was amazing. Lovely food and company. I had no idea the players and David Clowes would be there, so that was a lovely surprise.
