Counter scenario: the bidders and the admins are holding announcing who they are until a preferred bidder is selected.
I would imagine the vast majority of those involved would prefer to negotiate quietly and make an announcement once the real details are resolved.
Kirchner broke the norm by coming out with his bid, but the reality is he was no closer to owning the club than any of us. Then he throws his toys out the pram when he didn't get it all his way.
The analogy on here seems to compare the deal to buying a house. A house purchase can easily take 9 months if complex but people expect a multi-company insolvency transaction with non-valued assets to be done in less than 3 months?

Kirchner will likely have the least liquid funds, least footballing links and least knowledge of the current bidders from the information we have so far.
It's likely he realises this and wants to hammer a deal through before the other parties step up their interest (if at all). If you get the likes of Appleby/Rush/Moxey etc getting serious their links to existing footballing infrastructure will be more valuable than any money can add.

Not sure you could find anyone with the 'skillset' and 'experience' that could potentially face the club.
Worst case scenario we could be facing the highest points deduction the league has ever dished out.

At the end of the day it will probably be the difference between finishing 5th and 6th so there's no point crying over split milk.

RamLad1884 got a reaction from 48 hours in Phil Jagielka & Richard Stearman - Both Signed
The noticeable difference from when Rooney signed (as an old pro whose legs had gone) wasn't what Rooney brought to the team. We saw Bird excel far more.
If Jags can have a similar impact on Festy and Buchanan then this could be a very good signing.

Exactly my point. It's taken him 10 years to get that many, yet I'd put a considerable wager that he will score at least a half dozen goals in one year with us. Sometimes a club makes a good fit for a player.

The players will play their best games when they trust the ability of others.
Bryne and Bird have benefitted from having two older heads at CB last night, letting them play with more creativity.
Ravel the same, give him the freedom of the pitch and he will link the defense through to attack. Knowing he has Bird and Shinnie behind him seems to give him that freedom.

Ravel scored 14 career goals before us. Already has 1 for us and looks like he could hit double figures if he stays on form.
Until Baldock has played a few games I'm reserving judgement. He may be a late career striker similar to Lambert etc.

RamLad1884 got a reaction from ariotofmyown in Dylan Williams, what a prospect.
The academy is set up to keep bringing full backs through that play the modern 'wing-back' role.
Noticed alot of the players actually start furthur up the pitch and get converted to full backs over time, making exciting attacking players (great for highlights/scouts and therefore for selling on). It's no coincidence we've produced 5 or 6 good full backs and currently no (possibly one) decent CB, we don't train them to defend.

Have a feeling this might be a little bit of mistaken journalism, think it's more likely that Ipswich will be looking at Shinnie's brother (Andrew)
Currently playing in Scotland after a solid stint in the championship.

Curtis Davies... What a man he is. He has literally put his body on the line for the club, and now his career.
Excellent today and will probably be our biggest 'signing' of the year.
