Did the police get to celebrate with horses and baton charges or did love win the day after all?

Don't worry about toxic social media, it's generally not a good barometer of what fans actually think on any given subject.
I've nothing against Bolton and we all know it's been a long journey for Bolton back from near death, and in my view Bolton are club of the top 2 divisions and I would be happy to see you back in the championship again.
Evatt seems a bit whingy, bitchy, throw shade in his comments though.

The thing with Ed Dawes, is it's easy to forget there are much much worse commentators littering local radio coverage. He's genuinely not that bad, and imo much better for the absence of the rammage banter.
He cares, he does his best, he's frequently been on the end of fans venting frustrations far beyond not liking his commentary.
Graham Richards, Ross Fletcher, Colin Bloomfield (who was not a natural sports commentator and really had to work at it) Owen, Dom, Colin Gibson, Radio Derby genuinely do a really good job of covering DCFC and I'm pretty sure that's because they do love the club beyond doing the job.

Why would he need one on anything other than merit? He's better than Bradley at CB and still a decent LB. No more injury prone than lots of the squad either.
I'm hoping for a at least one more season deal.
I'm not sure I'd want to lean on him to much for a championship season, but we'll just have to disagree on that.
Bradley hasn't been a particularly high bar this season but I would agree fix has been better when he's been playing.

I think the ref probably did the sensible thing in the circumstances and I don't think anyone involved is going to be particularly unhappy. Had we been clinging on by fingernails with Bolton winning big and 1 goal for Carlisle changing everything I could see on much unhappiness, but in the situation probably nothing lost by not playing those 2 minutes, even though it was incorrect.

I think we've seen in the run in just how much having a squad that bond together has helped, and why getting the right characters in does matter - it was something Nigel Clough was also big on and it's no coincidence many of his signings formed the core of the squad long after he'd left. It's not the same situation now and the promotion means there's a lot of work to do, but I trust Warne to bring in good characters again.
Lets just not panic if we're not making box office signings all summer.

Having slept off lunchtime beer now, and awaiting delivery of a delicious curry, I hope everyone's having a great time.
As much as anything, it feels like this moment turns the page on a very difficult chapter in the club's history. The story now is about going forwards, not recovering from what Mel did as it's been for the last 2 seasons.

I have a hunch we might be better suited to the Championship and the better quality opposition. We don't under Warne look like breaking down sides we're expected to dominate and today was no exception. What we have done well by and large is be competitive against the better sides in this league. Its not pretty, its not really how I want us to play but if it gets results its a results business not an art gallery.
This is my take as well, I suspect he shines as an underdog and in league 1 we've not been that.

Which contracted players may attract bids over the summer
in Derby County Forum

Cashin, Nelson, Nyambe, NML, maybe Wilson are all players I could see other clubs wanting.
Cashin is the only one I could see other clubs wanting enough to be seriously trying to get off us.
There's quite a few of our out of contract players who are deffo going to have options for next season.
