Chuffed for Zak Brown too. He's one of the game's genuinely good guys and it's great to see the orange car back at the front of the pack.
I really like Zak, he's revampped Mclaren and he's got that "that's how I like to imgine Americans" vibe to him.

I think my other shout outs need to go to Tsnuoda and Ocon for getting important points for their teams.
But today it's all about Lando, thanking his mum dad and granny.

Oh Checo, it was a good attempt but you missed him.

Drs trains....the most tedious development in F1 which formed after bringing in drs because cars couldn't overtake......
There's British superbikes at Olton Park, apparently that's on a channel called dmax now, I lost track of who had bsb a few years ago and assumed it was on a subscription channel but caught a bit whilst channel hopping earlier. There'll be racing tomorrow.
Gt challenge Europe has been at brands hatch today, but walked my parents dogs instead.

The Miami track sucks so hard.
I will watch, but no massive enthusiasm at the front, just hopefully the racing for the low end of the points is good.

I chose birmingham with my party hat at the ready...
C'mon Birmingham City, do it for Digbeth coach station, do it for the new bullring, do it for M42/M6 interchange, just soak up the concrete that flows in Brummy veins and capitulate like you know you want to.

I think it is more than funds though; my guess is we will have a bit of money and some latitude but I am hoping the difference that will help Warne may is that we are Derby County … not Accrington Stanley. There just must be ambitious players who want the right stage every bit as much the big pay packet ?
Absolutely.
Without over egging it, I'm sure potential signings will not be looking at DCFC as a scrape around the bottom trying to avoid league 1, which you can't help but feel everyone signing for Rotherham knew they were signing up for.

"You have disappointed me for the last time. Frankly you are the worst ref I've ever bought. Here's your resignation letter."
"But this reads like a suicide note..........?!"
"Just sign it, then roll yourself up in that carpet Mr clattenberg."
"Can i not just resign with a whine and a whimper....is that petrol I can smell.....and why are we meeting in an empty Wearhouse and not your throne room like usual?"
....
....
"They'd miss me on Gladiators "
....
"They wouldn't but I don't need the attention right now. Make the call, the match is not struck."

I liked Conway and I've got his book, but not read it yet, will do now we're back and I can view it as history.
However, I don't think they'd rehire him, they'll probably get some new up and coming (I.e can pay peanuts) bod.

I didn’t particularly rate him when he first came. He provided balance and was immense as a screen but gave the ball away more than he actually won it.
But as soon as Smith came back in it changed.
Smith was the one sitting a little deeper, picking passes from deep and keeping things tidy.
This allowed Adams to start rampaging forward. He was still the steel of the midfield but he was using his energy to get forward as well as just putting his foot in.
Just something I noticed.
This also resulted in Smith playing some of his best football with us.

Home v anyone.

April 2003 (i think it was) Milwall at home, won 2-0, Osman was great and pretty much made us safe.
Games like that aren't neccessarily the first anyone would think of but ended up being important.

Any news from Victim FC on their FFP appeal?
TBH, I'm shocked that a club so righteous failed to sell a player in time in order to balance the books. Didn't they realise that there was a strict deadline?
The did, they just decided it didn't apply to them because forest reasons. Then they were mad it did apply to them.
Birmingham relegated.
