Just please don’t let this absolute chancer anywhere near the club. The signs of him being a bullcrapper have been obvious from the very beginning.

A wonderfully choreographed full stadium, holding up coloured cards in time with bombastic classical music, that makes authoritarian regimes across the globe green with envy.

TheresOnlyWanChope got a reaction from Chester40 in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
Everything points to big problems at Derby. Which stories are true or false, no one really knows but in recent years, with the Tom Ince mother story, the huge salary received by Redknapp who seemingly did very little, massive wages on players who did little on the field, didn’t play or got sold on at a loss.
The CEO stating the sheikh was running the club ‘in tandem’ and deciding on the Rooney appointment with Morris.
The original poster is right to air his views and to ask for reassurances from the club.
I am hoping that the club can bounce back from relegation which looks more and more likely every week but questions need to be asked of these people who make agreements to buy the club like sheikh or Alonso. This isn’t right. Where is Alonso’s money coming from? Why is someone who hasn’t purchased the club properly (sheikh) allowed to make decisions in terms of who the manager would be ?

Ironic cheers shouldn’t have happened. Just moronic. In the rain as well, obviously a keeper should be looking to punch in bad conditions. I think this is taught now anyway as a less risky option than catching.

    I don't think that's the case.
I think the relationship between club and local media has changed dramatically in the past few years.
The club used to need the local media to get their message out. If the local media upset them, there was little that could be done.
But now there is Facebook Live, RamsTV, YouTube and more, it's no longer a relationship amongst equals. The local media need the club much more than the club need the local media.
And so local media must not upset the club in any way.
That's just the way it is these days.

The size of any club can only be put down to how they (and their sponsors) monetize their fan base and reach. It's absolutely nothing to do with past glories, and even passing glories.
It's no surprise that Derby have always found themselves on Sky a lot in the Championship because they're one of the few clubs that can generate viewing figures to make money. Leeds, Forest, Wednesday and others too. This is why Mel Morris was always frustrated at the TV money as Derby and Forest would generate a bigger viewership than Burnley, Watford but receive a fraction of the money due to the Premier League umbrella.
Club size = following. It's as simple as that.

The best way to even judge the size of a club  would be attendances (fanbase) over a period of time, not trophies. Bit of a futile argument though and slightly childish.

Don't think it was intentional zonal marking that cost us yesterday. Players didn't mark their man and that was their job and they failed. It wasn't zonal marking from crosses. Forsyth Knight and Lawrence didn't do basic jobs. Other matches, still seemed to be a lack of desire from players to defend crosses and corners. It's more than tactics, its players not giving 100 per cent, they can't be bothered to do basics.

TheresOnlyWanChope reacted to uttoxram75 in Is this our worst ever side ?
Lack of leaders on the pitch. Normally in any group you tend to get a few who are vocal, people who lead and encourage, doesn't matter who the captain is, there's normally two or three who lead from the front.
Without Bielik and Curtis Davies we appear to lack that natural leadership. While players like Shinnie, Knight, Clarke, Byrne even, give everything physically, they are not vocal leaders, the type of characters you want to be constantly giving orders, possibly CKR is in that category but ideally you need two or three further back giving it some vocals, whether encouragement or orders, we seem very quiet.
The players are possibly not the worst technically, certainly no worse than many we've seen over the years but seem rudderless and incapable of making decisions themselves.
I mentioned it after the match yesterday, but the 5 minute period where Swansea won the game started with Joz passing a 5 yard ball 2 yards behind the player it was intended for straight into touch.
At that point, the natural leaders are required to bolster the team, keep the spirits up, arm round Joz, all that kind of stuff.
I get the impression they are all expecting someone else to do it.
Jake Buxton and Richard Keogh would have the same bunch of players safe in mid table. We've probably missed Curtis Davies as much as Bielik for his leadership.

You’re not the only one who is tired. Why do you constantly follow me around trying to get the upper hand?
You keep suggesting I am negative, but people tend to be positive when there is something to be positive about.
That’s what you don’t get - no-one is rejoicing. No-one is glad to be right. No-one is even being negative.
The club is in a mess, so how can you expect sunshine and rainbows? People are just calling it for what it is - a mess!
I’ve seen some terrible sides under Gregory, Brown, Jewell and Clough. Can you honestly be surprised that people like myself anticipate the worst when it comes to Derby County?
Look at that prediction thread the other week about the last 7 games of the season.
You waded in saying that I was negative by predicting we’d only get 4 points from 21.
We are on course to do even worse than that! And yet I am negative?
Give it a rest. This is a tough time for everyone.
