Just got home. Story of our season tbh. Didn't play that well but somehow still came out with the three points and the title.

Considering he's talking to me, that's not the case at all.  Long story short, me, my lad, and a few of his mates waited for the players after the Bolton game for pics, and I waited a bit longer than most for a pic with the gaffer, but I guess he was either still basking in the post victory glow at the bar, or he'd popped off early.  Fast forward to Saturday and my lad's mates were again waiting outside and one of them told him I was a Derby fan of 40 years & I was gutted I'd missed him a couple of weeks ago.  Warney politely asked him for his phone, asked what my name was, and hit Record.  Top bloke...

I moved to Canada in June 2023. It's been a great move for me, but apart from family my connection home has been through Derby County. I wish I saw more games during this season, but I've done a lot of hungover early starts to watch us grind out the wins that got us into this position.
And here we are. Portsmouth away seemed very significant. It's poetic in my own personal way that Derby will get promoted in the first season I can't go to any games. But from thousands of miles away, I finally feel a bit of confidence.
Long story short - This Wycombe car park ambulance chasing lot made me hate a lot of modern football, and I'd love to turn these over and tell the football world we are back.
As a Brit now in Canada following on and loving every second of this season...

A mate of mine put me onto the app years ago. Fastest real time score updates I've seen and also pulls all the OPTA data in real time so you can look at team and individual stats during games.

I think RamsTV are okay for a commentator. 

We've had numerous posts bemoaning Warne's tactics, of his playing five at the back which as caused much contention amongst fans. Yes the games he has used this system hasn't always been a great success. 
But as this failure been due to the system or is it down to the unavailability of the players that can play it. 
Against Blackpool on Tuesday we played with a back five that looked comfortable playing it. So should Warne stick with a five or should he revert back to a four? 
Also we did have a midfield three that worked well together which helped.

Surprises me to see how many people want Waghorn back. Turned up once in the 3 years he was here, got worse since he left and is 33 years old. I understand we want attackers but definitely not him. I’d be on the phone to Benik Afobe if I was Warne. Even Assombalonga is a better shout than Waghorn. It shows how poor Waghorn is now when Nugent looked better than him in the friendly. I just hope we don’t spoil a good transfer window by re-signing him. Players coming back never ever work.

Actually most of us didn't get a pay rise this year, most of us haven't for years. I work for the Ministry of Justice and we did get a pay rise spread over 3 years which actually turns out to be a pay cut!
Moat of the reason that the rail workers are standing out in the news is that their union has finally said "Enough is enough" and taken action. If other workers representatives had taken this stance earlier, maybe it wouldn't have got this bad. At least their are other unions beginning to stand up for their members.
And the min reason we pay over the odds for virtually everything is political. The is no need for this country to go in the direction it has, or end up at the place it has.
That's enough politics. Back to the footy, please.

I came to the Oxford game on Saturday with my mate (Wolves fan). 
It was our first trip to Pride Park between us and usually we pick a random game every so often. So we ended up at your place.
We had a great time, your stadium is fantastic. Plenty of eateries around the ground too. The fans we were sat near were passionate and it was infectious. We were in the North Stand which was family orientated but it was nice to see so many youngsters getting behind the team.
The atmosphere was great, the bounce by the south stand was something I won't forget. Capped with a great goal to get the win aswell. 
Only downside being, we parked at the industrial park past the south stand and we didn't move for about an hour after the final whistle. But that didn't spoil a great day out. 
All the best for the season, will be looking out for your results and will likely come back later in the season too.

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. What a game, what performances. That was a wonderful game of football. They edged us on the pass and move, I had jangling nerves every time they had a corner .. those quality balls in  just forward of the 6 yard box at the right height and willing attackers ready to pounce to well practiced drills. But Cashin and Curtis like Bulwarks, “thou shall not pass” Ebioe running their full back ragged in the first half. Such balance and control. Did you see that arrogant take down in the second half ? What a touch he has. Tommo a micro battering ram with twinkling toes. Byrne running and running and .. marking Mitrovic ?. Mr sweet face Serbian prince turned rapidly in to grumpy, petulant old nanny goat by the mighty Rams. Tom Lawrence bursting with energy and intent. Seeing Plange’s confidence soar as the second half progressed and watching Buchanan get stronger and taller as the minutes passed. Knighty burning nuclear energy on every inch of the pitch. The one who made it for me was Eiran Cashin. Positioning, strength, key headers, blocks, tackles, calm under pressure, never reckless,  tidy always. He’s 20 ? And he’s a god of a Centre Back already.
que sera sera but I am so proud of this team as was everyone else. You can feel the bond between fans and players in a way that I have never seen in 50 odd years of watching football.

Get this deal done .. I need to renew my season ticket ????
 

While I respect your experience, I  think this season has been anything but "draining", "miserable", or "pointless" on the pitch. The pride I've felt when the lads have given absolutely everything has been huge.
Even if we do go down, this team will be one that will stick in the memory for a long time. For me, that's the opposite of pointless.
