I always thought there was prize money from top to bottom on a sliding scale.
I can't see anything to confirm numbers, but it would appear so:
https://soccerhint.com/sky-bet-league-1-prize-money-the-analysis/
Figures from last year, winners got £600k, runner up got £500k, with the average across all teams to £230k.

Steve Morgan Redrow would be my guess.
There was a brief rumour about his interest when we were in admin, IIRC?

What is so outrageous about this statement?
The current side is a bottom three side by championship standard. Think it’s way too much to ask of Warne to keep the current squad as it is in the championship next season.
Bris is right - we’ll need to make at least eight+ signings in the summer to give Warne a decent chance of success. He’s earned the right to get backed this summer - let’s hope we’re in a position to be able to fund it!
It's not that there's anything outrageous about this statement, there isn't. Of course, he's right, but it's also blindingly obvious; loans going back and contracts expiring - we'll need those signings regardless of the league we find ourselves in.
It's that it consistently happens in the wake of a win, which makes it look like Bris is content to urinate on everyone's chips and bring the mood down. All people want to do is enjoy the good feeling 3 points bring, and be excited about promotion.
Let us worry about next season after (hopefully) basking in the glow of a first promotion in 17 years. I'm going to enjoy it and praise the good job Warne has done this season. Record points tally, record away wins in a season... it is about time the club and fans had some good times.

Great to see Clowes supporting too - hoping the one club approach does wonders for developing the women's too.
Fantastic achievement, up the Ewes!

Thanks all for taking a look. Will try colour next time as it's hard to distinguish the players or the different fans.
I know this isn't *precisely* what colourblind people see, and it varies depending on the type of colourblindness, but these pictures do provide a window into what some people so afflicted see.
Must be horrendous when you can barely pick out the difference between the Derby and Blackpool players at a glance.

QuoteThis latest agreement between the Premier League and the FA, in the absence of financial reform, is just a further example of how the EFL and its Clubs are being marginalised in favour of others further up the pyramid and that only serves to threaten the future of the English game.
EFL going all out. Fair play.

Why, unless he's likely to sign for us next year
If we're looking at a 5 minute cameo when the result is safe, I'd rather it was youngster or some other first team regular.
You could level that at a number of the first team regulars - or Max Bird who definitely won't be playing for us next season.
-
I'm sure Max will want a promotion on his CV to cap his time at his boyhood club.
To suggest he won't be committed to this shows no respect to him.
I just wouldn't risk him for this game, save for some minutes at the end.

Does he deserve to get back into the squad based on a few days of training, after being out for 3 months), when we have Collins, Washington, Waghorn, Mendez-Laing, Blackett-Taylor, and Barkhuizen as fit attacking options? That also ignores Bird, Sibley and Wilson as potential options in a front 4.
It was purely for emotional reasons - yes, on logic, why bother?
It was a momentary weakness. Won't happen again.

Well, to Cardiff fans, he's their "Sonny Bradley". Let's hope their manager isn't their "Paul Warne" eh? 😉

Slight deviation from topic since it's about Collins, but nice to see the locals are still bitter about 'snowgate' 🤣

Anypne have any advice please....:
I normally go to the match with relatives who have a parking season ticket (Car Park B - Arena) but I'm taking Miss Wolfie to the Orient game and so need to drive seperately and pre-pay to park in the same car park as them.
I stupidly paid the parking on the MiPermit app on Sunday just gone without first signing into my account, so I don't have any email confirmation or live booking showing on the app.
Will they know on the entrance that my car registration has been used for a booking?. Otherwise all I have is a £10 transaction on my credit card app that I can show them. I sent a message on the MiPermit website but I'm not confident of getting an answer.
Thanks!
They don't check you going in, I did similar when I went on a one off for hospitality. I just said I'd prepaid and the hivis man accepted it.
They go around, probably during the game, checking reg plates as they'd normally do any other day, as they have done when I've been at the arena for the gym.

Too many coincidences here. PUMA spelt out in newspaper headlines? A day after the announcement of the Umbro deal finishing?
If this means we're getting something inspired by this kit, I'm gonna explode.

I don’t know why they don’t use the velodrome. It’s well placed and would do nicely for live music.
I went to see Catfish and the Bottlemen a few years back, not long after it had opened. The layout limits it, and the sound quality was toss. Maybe it's improved since, but all it seems to be used for is spoken stuff (comedy, panto, etc)

If you look a bit closely at the photo, you'll see the lino is on that side of the pitch, very close to their player. Unfortunately, he seems to be looking across the back line, looking for offside and not looking at the player with the ball.
Well spotted! Clearly need my eyes testing as much as the ref 👓
