What’s that other place on the north west corner?  Never seems to be open either. That’s in a better location than the Yard thing.

It's the DCFC in the Community Hub now.

If we'd kept Rosenior we'd be looking forward to a second season in the Championship

We'd be looking at a third season in League One if Clowes didn't swap Rosenior for Warne.

Alexa, show me 'the duality of man'.

*not using this post to challenge either statement.

To be fair, they're all guesses, suggestions put forward by folk, most, if not all, of whom are trying to make money from their efforts. It's not, IMO, real journalism. They think stuff up, put it on their webpage, monetised FB page or monetised YouTube account. Clicks generate advertising revenue. That is the only reason d'être for their pages.

Herbie Kane was attributed to Nixon, so that one some journalistic credibility.

Not going to debate how much, mind.

Like the green and the purple as backup kits.

Quite like the swirly white kit (if that is white)

Probably some marketing colour like Sharp Ivory.

Does remind me of a Nederlands away kit from a few years back, mind

Puma have just announced their GK template for the upcoming season, so we will be choosing (well, we will already have chosen) from these colours:

I'm going to guess the yellow one, and the highlighter green one.

In reality though, we're not a new club because Derby County has a continuous existence, as I understand it, through the transfer of the Golden Share as approved by the EFL.

We never lost our membership of the EFL, whereas Rangers lost their membership of the SFL for a time.

Precisely - sorry, should have added that part in. I was looking purely at the CH part.

Genuine question, when we went into administration and Saint David saved us are we on paper a new club to the one prior to admin? E.g. Rangers on paper are essentially a new club.

    According to Companies House, yes.

The original, The Derby County Football Club Limited, incorporated in 1896, has since been renamed to DC Realisations 1 Ltd - and is still in administration.

The current iteration is Derby County (The Rams) Limited.

So this will presumably impact overseas fans badly?

or  will we be able to watch an enhanced version offered by Ramstv

    for more money ?

The opposite. Just stops RamsTV streaming to UK customers for non-Saturday 3pm games.

I’m also sure I read that the rent was increasing from £250k p/a to £1m p/a. Yes in isolation it is steep but only in the context of it seeming amazingly cheap in the first place, and even then it is just a drop in the ocean. I bet they were paying Clattenburg that to write his silly articles in the Daily Mail.

If they are surprised they are going to struggle to redevelop the “WF”CG they are incredibly stupid. I’m no genius but even I could’ve told them the West Bridgford NIMBY’s wouldn’t allow it (probably fair enough) and saved them loads of time and money.

I don't know much about ground values - though possibly more than the EFL's expert witness - but I'd stake a crisp £5 note that NCC would get £1m ground rent off a brand new riverside apartment complex. Especially when that would become much less painful as time goes on - probably only 10-15 years into the lease.

Will spend 20-30x that on garbage signings, but won't invest that into the WFCG? I call shenanigans.

My question would be whether they will add “World Famous” as an official prefix to the stadium name to make themselves feel just a tiny bit less like the provincial largely historically second tier football club that they are?

It's funny that Forest are amazed that Nottingham City Council won't give them a dirt cheap rent when the Council went into a Section 114.

Especially when their previous chairman proclaimed from the rooftops that they'd agreed on a new 250yr lease. When they hadn't - it was never confirmed.

Huge conflict of interest when their current chairman stands to gain massively should they move to a new site - his architecture firm would make so much more from an entirely new stadium than trying to polish a turd...

I don't get comments like this. There's no reason to think we shouldn't be considered an upper Championship club.

We're not here to feed off scraps and be a Rotherham, trying to stave off relegation. We will be up with Leeds and Sunderland as the best supported club, with some of the best facilities.

Absolutely, but that's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying it because our budget simply won't match the relegated clubs with 'chute payments. We also aren't going to be throwing around silly contracts.

Would re-subscribe if the prices were more reasonable, but I don't like how they hook you in on a cheap deal and then double or triple it without telling you.

There's such a lot of good free content out there, I think they rather over-value their product.

If you threaten to leave, they make it cheaper again.

I use it for more than just Derby though, as they're quite in depth about the handegg in the USofA.
