Great strike, but that view gives a clear sight of the handball.
No use complaining about it though.

Is nats drop in form purely a drop,or is it side effect of cbt in the side, who I thought had his best game so far last night and looked for the first time the player we thought we were getting
He's probably still carrying a niggle from the Northampton game, plus played the majority of the Blackpool game, and most of last night.
8 days between games is going to be huge for a lot of the squad.

I've slept on it and will probably get pelters but I still feel last night is 2 points dropped. And I'll elaborate.
All if buts maybes granted, but Bolton win their game in hand then win another that we lose there's still a good chance we miss out on autos by 2 points.
You can pick any time through the season we could've gained 2 points, most will look at Northampton and say the massive Derby County should be rolling over Northampton and that's where we went wrong.
But I'll still be more disappointed In last night and the reason is we never turned up at Northampton, we could've played for a month and never scored. Last night we turned up, first half was one of the best attacking performances I've seen all season. Pompey looked rattled and couldn't deal with the pace. Yes they had more chances first half could've gone in 3-2 down, but we didn't we took the lead. Second half they couldn't get anything going, we gave them too much respect because of the position they're in, played too defensively, didn't make the Collins sub when we should've. These tactical decisions on a day when we turned up and imo could've gone on to score more had we carried on as we did in the first could be more costly than a game we didn't turn up in.
I don't post on here enough to know the beef some posters seem to have with having a positive or negative opinion on decisions by the manager, I'm not strongly for or against Warne, for what he's been dealt finances injuries etc he's doing a good job yes but I still think everyone's opinions should be considered and not ridiculed, would be a boring world if we all thought the same after all.
I can get behind this one. But for me, it's the two games against Barnsley and Charlton. They were especially galling given that we lead in both games. Even holding on to a draw in both would have put us 3 behind Portsmouth and 6 clear of Bolton.
That being said, every team will have those types of results - the ifs buts and maybes. You only have to go back to Bolton losing 4-1 to Blackpool, scraping a last minute draw against Barnsley, or Posh losing 3-1 to bottom of the league Carlisle.

This will be a relegation six-pointer next season in the Championship.

Let’s worry about that when we get there.

This is an interesting thread - some of it rings very true to our experience of Couhig during our admin times.

Given the narrative around the stadium sale being it was approved, then somehow wasn't allowed retrospectively, I'm taking the comment about the independent regulator to mean that any big decisions like this would go through the regulator, stopping this he said, she said nonsense.

Similar to what @Animal is a Ram said I guess. I’m always willing to listen to and consider other people’s opinions even when I don’t agree with them, and can occasionally show some humility if I’m wrong, so like trying to encourage that bit of consideration and self-awareness in others. However I am coming to the conclusion, similar to what I did with ap04 the other day that some people are just set up to goad others and have no interest in considering an alternative perspective, so maybe it’s not worth the challenge with them.
but you put it more eloquently than me. Well played Sir/Madam.
I also tried to do the same with Brexit voters. That went about as well as it does with this Chris Martin poster.

Don’t know why folk engage with this troll (not you Caerphilly ) or the Ap04 one. Doesn’t matter how good your argument is they will come up with more nonsense. Not worth reading or replying to their posts
I see it as a challenge, to try and talk some sense into them, and also to at least try and understand how they think.

He knew that already then why set up that way to start with?
At 0-0 Bolton had played the better game. They should have been ahead but for some great saves from Joe. Why would Evatt change something that was clearly working?
Perhaps Warne thought, with the form we're in, we could implement our game on Bolton, instead of changing our line up to suit.
But the latter is surely that's not something you'd have criticised Warne for doing, right?

Only 6 tickets left in the West stand and 86 in the East stand.
I think they’ll wait till a few of the seats behind the goal and in the corners have gone and then open up some more, including the two at the side of me in EU block I.
I guess the Brexit voters don't want to sit here...

Also, two substitutes combined for the goal.
Perfectly aware Elder wasn't one of those to come on at HT, just to head off that reply.

Hourihane was not injured, he came off at HT
Who has played Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday. Sounds like he wanted more legs in midfield with Barkhuizen going off.
Hardly a huge change in tactic, is it?

If warne got his tactics spot on, then why did he have to change it so drastically at half time?
Because the players taken off took knocks. He was looking after Barkhuizen and Ward.

Wycombe Wanderers Football Club and Feliciana have to put on hold the discussions and ongoing due diligence due to seeming planning limitations allowing only Reading FC to use the training grounds.
Well that's rather silly, isn't it.

Some people just love to sap the joy out of sport, I guess.
Gutted to miss this one on being at a wedding, was sat monitoring the twitters during dinner, but the few of us Derby fans that were there celebrating on that final whistle notification.

They'll have got nothing for this. Their gobshite of a chairman was pulling in the purse strings at the start of the season and trying to sell. Very odd
Rumoured figure of £20-25m. Apparently cost twice that.

QuoteIt is now hoped that the sale will help save the long-term future of the Royals, who have been hit with multiple points deductions and fines since the start of the season.
Statement expected today.
I don't care who the parties involved are, this doesn't sit well with me at all. I don't think it does anything but make Reading a harder sell.

So accepting that CBT is yet to make an impact, how many more on this list do you believe are struggling to make an impact?
Just Fornah, Embleton and TJJ in my view. Waggy and Wash are coming back from injuries sustained in the line of work but have generally made an impact when fit and selected, Vickers has done Ok as back up keeper, but every one of the others is proving their value now IMO.
What kind of success rate were you expecting when none of them cost a transfer fee?
Even then, Fornah and TJJ have made some significant contributions - TJJ with the only goal in the win away at Port Vale, and Fornah with the wonderful assist for NML at home to Bristol Rovers?
I'd agree with Embleton, though, but he barely got his feet under the table before a season-ending injury.

I don't mind the offside one so much, it's marginal to the point that VAR would have taken about 3 working days to make a decision.
The handball one is a little more egregious to me, wrong side of the pitch for the lino, but the ref has a decent view of it:
Maybe he's a little too far (plus weather) to see for sure if it's t-shirt line or not...
