Derbados
All I want to see is a team playing with desire, passion and aggression, consistently over the season. Clear evidence of a team that is united, a team that works hard for each other and win and lose as a unit. Do that and the league position will take care of itself. Mr Tibbs
I'd take a 10th upwards finish whilst we actually go through a "transition" period. Clean slate and more than half a season to make the necessary changes, please. Maybe his ex-rams portfolio will buy him some extra time and leeway too but I imagine the same old culprits will be hounding him out when were not top by Christmas. We'll be boo'ing long before that at Pride Park.

ram1964
Expectations are going to be high, otherwise why bother sacking recent managers who (except Pearce) were keeping the club top half of the table or better. Continued investmnent throughout the club and MM public desire to get us up creates expectations from the fans, myself included. Where as A few seasons ago competing for play offs ,would have provided myself with some content and feel good factor, unfortunately anything less than playoffs, entertaining football, stuffing florist and breaking transfer deals is just an anticlimax
Parsnip
I've gone 7-10th. We want Derby to be playing good football, making continual progress and looking like contenders. Although I'll be having a few quid on Derby going up automatically because i think Rowett is a great choice and i reckon we'll fly.

You can only expect one thing in football - disappointment.
Van der MoodHoover
Not going to have any expectations about position. How I will judge Gary rowett and my expectations of him is that when we talk about his squad we will not be using any of the following words to describe it. jono
Without any hyperbole we are a leading club in this division. To expect promotion considering the recent history is however a bit optimistic or smacks of entitlement, but it is absolutely right that we should expect to be challenging for promotion so top six for me. hintonsboots
I want to see a well organised team who all give 100% in each game, i.e leave nothing on the pitch as the old cliche goes. I don't want any sulking, shoulder shrugging or eye rolling. I don't want any goals conceded in the last minute of injury time. There will be a couple of poor teams coming down from the Prem, so we should be well placed for promotion.
mwram1973
I'm not expecting anything as I think he needs to assemble his own squad and that will take time, probably more than a season. If he can get this lot playing with passion and commitment I could see us pushing a top 6 place.
1967Ram
If we don't look like being certain for the Play-Offs by November at the latest old Mel 'Sacko' Morris will be showing him the door!!
GerryDaly
I voted top two ... The Hulls and the Boro's get promoted with sick support ... DCFC need a hungry starved motivated manager . I'm trusting GR is just this. Top Two.

BramcoteRam84
7th to 10th is minimum expectation with evidence of improvement and building blocks for promotion push following season. Promotion next season is maximum expectation. Really hope Mel gives Rowett a fair chance, if he sacks him the minute we have a bad run, I will be voting with my feet and not renewing for 18/19.
