On most planets 13th counts as mid-table.

What positions are you counting as mid table then it's just that I would class 13th out of 24 below middle on my planet

Surely if you are doing top middle and bottom, you divide 24 by 3 and get 8...so 9th to 16th really is mid table.

What positions do you count as mid table then, because surely on your planet 12th  is above middle?🤔

Mid-table is probably 10-16. And higher and you're challenging for the playoffs. Any lower and you might get sucked into a relegation dogfight.

Reading the Clowes article I'm pleased to see the talk of a Warne contract extension is at some nebulous point in the future and seemingly not imminent (as I'd understood after seeing some comments on here). Two years is enough right now - let's see how we start the season.

In the real world going by your logic. 12th is above mid table and 13th is below mid table. So unless we end up at 12.5 in the table then 12th and 13th are mid table.

Perhaps we should have an official nomenclature for the various positions ? It’s gets a bit lengthy though 🤣

Champions / contenders / leaders / runaway leaders

In the Automatics

In with a shout at the automatics

In a play off position

Playoff contenders / hopefuls

Top 6

Top 10

Top half

Mid Table

Upper and lower mid table

Bottom Half

Relegation threatened / dogfight

Drop zone

Bottom 3

Going

Gone

Paul Warne seems a little frustrated that we have not brought more players in yet . No doubt , agents are playing one club against another , to bring the best players in . I agree with him , that we need a defender with pace as Fozzy is probably the quickest we have .

Listening to Paul Warne , post-match today, he sounded like he was making a plea to Rams fans . He said the team “ NEED the fans to back them”. Saying there will be losses but to stick with them. We have to be patient is the call.

Good luck with that !

And he is absolutely right, isn’t he ?

Good luck diverting responsibility for any potential string of poor results onto the fans who've paid £400+ to be there.

Diverting responsibility? When did he say that? Isn't he just asking the fans to support through thick and thin?

Are supporters entitled to success because they are paying an average of £17+ to watch each game? I would like to think that fair-minded fans will have noticed that we're in a higher league, don't have the benefit of parachute payments and generally are playing catch-up after re-bounding from the edge of administration.

The Club continues to have my support. I suspect there will be dark times in coming months. Hopefully, those of us who are realistic enough to realise that we're unlikely to win every game will enjoy the season slightly more than those that think the opposite.
