They are bang average- our own fault, missed a badly taken penalty but the bottler ref didn't give us a deserved second. Our marking hasn't been great for their odd break. McGoldrick has been invisible, probably could do with another body running around in midfield or supporting Collins because they seem to have a lot more space than us on the ball. We've been pretty decent, created a fair few chances, missed a penalty, should have been given another one. Another night, we're 2 or 3 nil up. Certainly not ideal to be behind, but also not the end of the world. Yani P Posted November 1, 2022 Share Posted November 1, 2022 Just seen the 2nd pen again...just a totally shocking decision..it was a 100% penalty..the ref just bottled it. .another ref where at the start they say he has never referreed Derby but has Morecombe loads of times. Tyler Durden Posted November 1, 2022 Share Posted November 1, 2022 The ref obviously thought that the penalty he gave us was a bit soft in hindsight so then bottled the much clearer one to even things up. We should have scored which is our fault though and SFA to do with the ref so only ourselves to blame. Pretty gash attempt as was nowhere near the corner and not hit with any real conviction either.
