Why are we even using it to hold anything but for what it was supposedly designed for. Using the Velodrome as a concert venue, shows why Derby haven't got any descent venues that are capable of attracting and holding major events We build a Velodrome to hold bike races but it can't be used for international competitions due to It's lack of seating. Then what do we do? We make the same mistake again when the long awaited swimming pool is built, at least they got the length of the pool correct. So what can we expect to get for the levelling up 20 mill plus whatever the council chucks in. Maybe an updated version of the old smoke damaged assembly rooms. A building that had a variety of uses but wasn't good enough or big enough to attract the major events.

Saw Radiohead there. It was also Brett Anderson of Suedes favourite ever concert. Reggie Greenwood

Grumpy Git
Estate agents. Called one yesterday morning only to be greeted with the usual automated ‘we’re extremely busy dealing with other customers’ bullshiit recorded message. Left my number, nothing, not even a ‘kiss my arse’, and they’re moaning that the property market is quiet?

That said, Estate Agents do really annoy me too. The most expensive photocopying service you will ever come across. Boycie
Day
YouTube shorts. For you old folk, I’m not talking about the shorts you wear on the beach, these shorts are short clips of videos trying to get you to watch the full video. Trailers if you like. So now that Google are pushing creators into putting these out to help them in the algorithms, subscription box now full of short clips of old videos I’ve already seen. And those creators that show clips of what’s to come in the video you’ve already decided to watch, ugh, just get on with it as you’re already losing my attention. Very much a first world problem here I know, just super annoying. Carl Sagan
