Someone criticising something they don't understand instead of just asking for an explanation. 

Then said explanation sounds like an excuse not a reason and the reason seems unreasonable to people who can't be reasoned with.

It was deliberately obtuse.

When people have a go without understanding the situation and once they have done that won't change their view.

Wasn't about this forum but it applies quite regularly.
