You seem to have some inside gen , although the public quotes were that Binnies had offered around £28 million and Appleby over £30 million but the devil is in detail and can't rely on what you read in the press. Understandably, he’d want to buy the club at a bargain price and won’t outbid the others if he thinks the amount they are offering is too high.
