Knight and Bird are academy products, or were purchased for the academy for tiny fees.

Lawrence has 1/5 of his purchase price still to go so what, 1m? But that will be incurred this year if we don't sell him so any fee helps.

Joswiak has some residual value of the 3m that he was rumoured to cost.

Shouldn’t be a big deal overall. Goes without saying we want to max out the price we can get for any of them.

Don't forget we are currently losing over a million pounds a month

That's hard cash losses isn't it? A lump of which are the admins fees.....

If we have to cut other costs materially then we have a problem. Not many cash draining players.... Lawrence and the 2 polish lads look front and centre.

Is that what you were driving at?

Otherwise - well, if the academy is 6m per annum that's 500k per month....

Isn't this figure based on current income and expenditure? Current income is severely reduced by the fact that a large proportion of the attendance have already paid for their season tickets some time ago. I would think that without administration costs and including future season ticket sales, the club would be close to running at a profit.

It'll interesting to see when next season's season tickets are made available and at what cost.

What’s confusing is when Nixon says

‘It goes from a bid [by Kirchner] to a deal when the admins say what the actual price is rather than the estimate.’.

Maybe it’s a scrambled way of describing what will happen when HMRC has agreed a deal. At that point the admins will know the minimum that needs to be bid for the unsecured creditors to get 25%. I guess at that point the admins will tell the bidders: “ok, let us have your best and final bid and by the way we ignore it if it’s less than the minimum. “

but Nixon also suggests that Kirchner has a deal as soon as he is told the minimum. If we’re to believe there are others in the frame, that’s rubbish

I’m going to ask Nixon round to our place over Xmas for a game of Chinese whispers. He’ll be fabulous
