Question for the regular gig crowd.

Let's say three of us going to gig. I'm the one who bought the tickets. So they're all on my phone, within the TM app, or in Google wallet whatever. The TM site specifically says screenshots won't work. Now I've sent screenshots loads of times for stuff like west end shows, train tickets, boarding passes, galleries museums etc, and they've always worked .

How do the three of you get in with the tickets on one device. Especially if it's being scanned by a turnstile rather than someone manually scanning them?

If it's an automated scanner, just pass the phone back. Might look a bit dodgy but you've got a valid reason, and I bet it's a very common one at that.

Or, if there's a person with a handheld scanner, just tell them they're all on your phone.

Nice. When / where are the Franks playing? I’d love to see them again.

And is the Eagles tribute Talon? I saw them years ago and seeing them again later this year. I’m partial to a good tribute band, saw The Southmartins last month and they were excellent, the guy’s got Paul Heaton to a tee.

Franks are at The 100 Club in Oxford Street on October 14th. Eagles are the Alter Eagles. I have seen Talon before, excellent as you say.

Peter Kay last night at Motorpoint. Forgot how funny he was, me and the wife were in stitches the whole night. Brilliant.

I was there Friday night. Was fantastic.

Same here (Friday).

Not quite as many belly laughs as I'd hoped/expected, but it was still an excellent evening all round.  (Arrived on the 3pm Red arrow, allowing plenty of time for pre match drinks and pub grub!)

Well worth the 7 mins I spent on line buying the tickets (While all around me, the internet exploded, and twitter erupted!)  🤣

Saw the legend that is Sir Tom Jones last night at Leicester Cricket Club.

The dude has still got it and rolled back the years at 83.

I would defo go again if the opportunity presented itself 🎶🎶

Saw Tom last year when he warmed up Stereophonics at Cardiff's principality stadium. Like you say he hasn’t lost it, belting out all the greats.

Going to see him at Sandown Park this week; I’ve seen him before at Newmarket and was pretty good. Does he still name drop every other song 😂

Managed to get tickets for the Liam Gallagher Definitely Maybe tour, Thursday in Manchester standing 🙌

Congrats! Tried and failed for the 4 London dates so far. Feel they're bound to add more. Would only consider standing. He's not much more than an Oasis tribute act at this point, but it is Definitely Maybe and in the 90s it was the album that changed everything and restored faith in music. Considered buying for a Manchester gig instead. Amazing how the demand remains so very high. Very pleased for ya - get that hotel booked!

All sold out now, will have to chance the resale market. Hotel booked, only £35 for a Travelodge. That will do.
