Not sure we will get a game played at Pride Park next Saturday either. We're expecting turbulent weather all this week, combine that with the state of our pitch and there's a good chance that gets called off as well.

I take this as a positive outcome for us, following a shocking result on Weds.

The timing of this couldn’t be better, this match is off and it’s highly likely that next weeks match at “The Somm” is probably gonna be called off too.

It will allow more time for our new editions to work with their new team mates and get well and truly embedded into WR’s way of playing and what he expects from them.

All the pitches are struggling at the moment. Even Villa Park. Watching their game now v Arsenal.

saying that, it looks no worse than PP in December when we beat Swansea. So who decided to mess our pitch up?

Villa Arsenal. Sliding doors eh?

Olly Watkins - Wembley final - mumble mumble. Grrrrr.

Ruined my afternoon off watching everyone argue in the match day thread.

It's beyond arguing anymore though and has been for a long period it's a number of quite entrenched posters trying to batter each other with their own infallible viewpoints and neither side refusing to yield a millimetre.

You'd get more enjoyment sticking hot needles in your eyes.

Still playable with rain on it though , no excuses in a multi million pound industry , Barnsley all have the wealthiest owners in the division , absolutely disgraceful

Their ground  is at the bottom of a very big hill - it’s where all the water goes

I think @SaintRam needs his own match day thread that only he’s allowed to post in.
