Probably not an absolute priority, but I would still like another LB in. Buchanan is inexperienced, and Forsyth is on the decline. Bringing Rahman in as first choice would give Buchanan time to develop as his understudy, and allow us to phase Forsyth out. Would be an ideal signing. Don't know whether he's any good or not but has only scored 3 senior goals in almost 150 senior appearances, though not a prime requisite for a FB in my book. Ambitious Posted October 8, 2020 Share Posted October 8, 2020 A very good prospect, however I can't see us moving on from Buchanan. We also have Archie Brown coming through the academy who looks an excellent prospect. I would expect, especially if we play 3-5-2, for him to have a real chance of cracking the first team this season. He plays a very attacking left back role for the U23s and looks to be the best player, certainly in the games I've seen.
