After reading this thread and we still try and blame the EFL, Gibson for our current predicament - spend over the odds on numerous players on the back of one purple patch season with massive wages to boot then can't give them away afterwards when their real limitations are realised. 
You mitigate this crackpot method of running a club if we'd have reached the Premiership with this ensemble cast but we didn't and in turn lies financial ruin for the club.

Whats gonna happen in the short term is that new posters are going to come on here pretending to be Derby Fans and let us know that our downfall is imminent and we have no chance of surviving and HMRC are going to shut us down.
They can all feck off.

Derby County v Manure while Paul Clement was the manager. He had us playing sideways and backwards and hiding in our penalty area all match. Then suddenly Chris Martin and George Thorne said “stuff this!” and created a two man multi-pass move that ripped United apart with a stunning goal. 
It never ever happened again under Clement . ?

I live in Bramcote and about a 15 minute walk from Beeston town centre. My 4 (nearly 5) year old daughter is going to her second game, first one was Peterborough. She can’t wait. The indoctrination is going well so far. 
Anyway we’re not proper Nottingham, we’re border country, quite a few rams over our way. 

I'm taking my 6 year old grandson to his first Rams game.
He's got his scarf and flag, and although he lives in Beeston, Nott*****m, he is not a Forest fan, as every time he sees me he says, "I'll never support Forest, Grandad!!". That brings tears to my eyes.

Such sad news. Johno is one of the best. For the little that it's worth, my thoughts and best wishes are with him and his family. 

Sometimes I look on and wonder why some footballers have a complete lack of self respect. Tonight was one of those nights. Their number 2 was an embarrassing cockwomble. Why couldn’t Lawrence have waited a match and stuck it on someone who deserved it. Malone would have also fit the bill. Made him a millionaire and he has no humility whatsoever. I don’t know who Millwall are playing on Saturday but I imagine they have started wasting time already. Celebrated like they had won the league. Ran towards their fans on the final whistle. Surprised they could find them. Tinpot club. Tinpot fans.

I was there too. I remember Saints battered us first half, pinging it around like Pep's Barcelona, they should have been 4-up at HT but only managed one early in the 2nd half. Then after an hour or so of pretty one-sided action, Arthur brought on Andy Garner and Dave Penney and suddenly we started to turn the tables on them. Phil Gee equalised and then Garner scored the winner from Dave Penney's cross. Shilts played a blinder and Burridge in the Soton goal was ribbed mercilessly about his wife leaving him (Derby fans had a downer on him after comments he'd made about choosing join Sheff U rather than us after we'd had him on loan from Wolves.

We have to play Forest every season that we're both in the same league. It's the way it works.

I’m sorry but this is bow locks. He made a stupid mistake but doesn’t deserve the stick he’s getting. He has won us lots of points this season and without him we would be nowhere near safety. The togetherness of the players and fans this season is remarkable. We don’t need or want this negativity… shameful post

I don't see how hammering Lawrence or punishing him would be productive. I don't see how it benefits us. 
 

A bit harsh to take captaincy off him for it.
Without him this season we would already be down. He’s stepped up when it counts many times. 3 games out is enough punishment for him. He will come back fresher and ready to make up for it without taking the armband off him. 

I know people are down on Lawrence for his idiocy but he's win us more points than most. Don't disagree that he's a tit but he's actually been great over the last 4 months so let's keep some perspective and togetherness about it.

Might be an unpopular suggestion, but how about we give the guy a break? The whole team has battled so hard this season and Tom is arguably having his best season in a Derby shirt. Yes he made a mistake but we all do and it's pretty harsh to come down on him for one indiscretion. Everyone deserves a a break after one mistake!

I must send him a thank you letter . In it I'll thank him for an extra 2 million quid in loans, an extra 2.5 million in admin fees,  not being able to sign any loans in January, losing 3 young players for 2 million quid in January, selling the extras for Delap for 10% of there worth, allowing a battling midfielder - ideal for games like tomorrow for 30k, not being able to negotiate contracts for young players or any players out of contract in 6 months potentially losing millions and affecting club saleability, losing potentially the player of the year as we couldn't extend his contract and causing everyone 6 months of stress at the tail end of one of the most stressful 2 years in history.  
Have I missed anything apart from a love heart.
 
 

Loses no edge for me. I'm sickened that Boro have apparently got money over this. Despise them, their attitude and their chairman. Hope we destroy them in the long run. Literally.
