A lot of Managers would have done better than Wazza did last season, I am pretty sure of that. He has improved a bit this season, I will give you that. Learned from his mistakes ??

Last seasons gone fella, It's this season that counts or doesn't, He's Galvanised a bunch young and old players into a team that's hard to score against, The football aint pretty to watch, I for one am not expecting flowing football, But what i'm getting instead is a willingness to fight...this is what WR has instilled into DCFC.

Could other Managers have done the same...Hhhmmm!

Simon Stone @ the BBC reporting that Appleby and his consortium are the front runners for it.

He also says an agreement over the tax bill will form part of the negotiations once the preferred bidder is announced, which could be this week. A CVA looks to be the way to exit admin.

It needs to be done by Friday, If not players/agents will be on the phone to other clubs showing they could be available, These 4 days are the most important in out recent history.

  3. Derby County 1 WBA 0...28 May 2007, Pretty much followed the same patern of play today, WBA are nowt special, A bunch of big lads who throw/cross the ball high into the box, Won a fare few but we kept them at bay.

All players deserved MOTM...For me young Thompson, Battled for everything, Won and lost against players who dwarfed him.

69 points to play for, A very thin squad, Players could leave, Players could come in...We might not score too many, But hell, We don't concede too many either.

If CK didn't like not buying the rams he simply had to up his offer some more. As for Maguire when he was posting as the Baron he claimed he didn't get money from football. He then claimed he was offered a job with Derby just prior to administration and in his latest rant claimed he worked for the rams against the EFL charges. Strange for someone that claimed they did not make money from football. When I made a comment that companies House disagreed with him that post was taken down for a few days. Strange how companies House show a company with the same name as his podcast with a director with his name making about 80,k last year if I remember rightly. Me thinks he is doing a Boris

Adims - Hi Mr Appleby, congratulations, we're ready to announce you as the preferred bidder as soon as you transfer over the £5m.

AA - So we're the last bid standing and you still expect a £5m nonrefundable deposit? I've got a better idea, make us the preferred bidders and we'll buy the club once we've sorted out Wycombe, Middlesbrough, MSD, Mel Morris and HMRC and we know exactly what we're getting. Really, we're not going hand over £5m for something that could still end up costing £200m

Admins - OK, we'll go with the fan owned block chain thing then.

AA - good luck with that.

Admins - But we told everyone that we'd get £5m from the preferred bidders.

AA - I told Brett Wilson that he'd make another fortune if he invested in Derby County. And I told Mel Morris that the way to get the fans on board was free merchandise. You can't kid a kidder.

Admins - So we'll just have to find another bidder then.

AA - maybe you should look for a fake Sheikh or Spanish boxer?

Admins - Can we just make you the preferred bidder and conveniently never mention the deposit again?

AA - that works for me. I'll send Sam over to sign the forms.

How on earth did you get that email, Looks like we're screwed now?

That's what I have always assumed. It's a try on, always has been, but may have delayed or hampered a deal. Utter Scumbuckets.

With these "Scumbuckets" delaying the process it could be a blessing in disguise, CK could have been the winner?, If what i'm reading on here concerning 1 person has increased his bid by a 7 figure sum then "praise the Lord", Whether Ashley, Moxey or a n other the home straight is in sight, I'm hoping on Ashley, One...he knows his stuff, Aint a fool and woe betide those "Scumbuckets"

So Kirchner ups his bid but then pulls out. Administrators say that led to another bidder upping their bid (is that right?). Suggests there must be more than one left in the mix, otherwise the last person standing would surely have just rescinded the higher bid as no competition left?

Proper good Xmas panto this though, will keep me entertained until the new year.

    Yep...that's right

Administrators say that led to another bidder upping HIS bid...Hhmmm

Now who's got the cash from a football club sale a few months ago ?

It still doesn't make them sitcoms anymore than a burglar dying in the first episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm makes it a drama

    situations=sit coms=situation comedy

Burglar dying in first episode of CYE had a dramatic effect=drama

    Merry Xmas B t B ?

The stupidity by our own fans in protecting Mel Morris has screwed us over! Blackpool hounded Oyston until he had nowhere to hide and avoided all the mess we’re in. Look at them now, back in the groove in the championship, we could be a decade away from that position come season end.

Owen Oyston sacked his Son Karl.

"The Oystons are reeling after being told they need to find £31million to pay former director Valeri Belokon for unfair prejudice.

Owen Oyston wants to sell family assets in a bid to raise a second payment of £10m payment"

2 chancers who sucked the life out of a once famous football club now have little to do with each other,

I know I mentioned this analogy before and it's probably a crap one as couldn't think of another but if you saw a car being sold on Autotrader with full body kit, sat nav and tracker, huge alloys etc then when you phoned up the seller they said they're going to take all of the listed kit off the car but it's the same price wouldn't that then make you think twice about buying it?

I was a little annoyed when this was delivered
