I must have missed that particular Court appearance we made.

Someone should explain the concept of a Buyer's Market to him, though it might be an impossible job even in words of one syllable.

Not looked at the list but is Duncan genuinely still our player?! Thought he had left a while back.

The club tried to move him on, but the move fell through. He's been contracted, but I don't think he made an appearance for the youth sides at all last season.

I saw that, who is he?

Former chairman of Watford between 2011 and 2012. His tenure was very unpopular and he faced several allegations of financial impropriety in running the club. He was banned from involvement in football for three years over misconduct in how he ran Watford.

Since then, he's popped up in and around other clubs when they're in crisis, causing bother. He spent a lot of time trying to stop Bolton's eventual takeover by claiming the club was actually his, a move that was eventually unsuccessful but caused a great deal of grief for Bolton. He's also popped up around Oldham and Charlton.

Ummm what's stopping us playing the entirety of next season in administration?

There's no rules about how long a club is allowed to be in administration for - look at Wigan, Portsmouth etc

Why are the EFL suddenly getting all precious about us potentially going into next season in administration, they weren't particularly bothered about it for the past season.

The other thing is, the EFL have previously allowed clubs to start the season in circumstances no better than what we're in. It was only a couple of years ago that they let both Bury and Bolton start the League One season in the same year while in dire straits financially. Bury had to postpone 5 games and failed to fulfil a cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday before getting kicked out of the league, and Bolton had to field their youth team to start the season, and also failed to fulfil a game against Doncaster Rovers.
