Or you can pay for a 24 hour pass through Now TV if you don’t normally subscribe to Sky. That’s what I’ll be doing.

archram reacted to Day in Craig Forsyth - served 10 years
Nigel’s best signing, and I’m not saying that to bait the Chris Martin fans.
Martin’s goals gave us a couple of fantastic seasons, Forsyth played his part in that team as well.
After the ACL’s and still playing his part now, not just a long service testimonial gesture is great to see. Would anyone be disappointed to see him get another year deal?
One of those players you want to see the club give him some kind of job for life.

archram reacted to ramit in Eiran Cashin
Cashin is a remarkably good central defender for his age. He has quite a few years of improvement ahead, yet already reads the game well, is strong, tackles well and has impressive long passing ability, a rarity in that position. There is considerable potential there and so if he is sold it can only be for big money.

Nyambe going to play for his country in a cross-continent tournament doesn’t strike me as a “nothing international cap”, it’s equivalent to the Euros for African nations, why wouldn’t he want to play and why should we begrudge it?
We have options to play at right back, not the standard of Nyambe but they can do a job. Or the potential to change shape and use Ward/Wilson at rwb.
I think this is a really odd take on international recognition for one of our players by you and the other poster.
“How dare this very good player who has been recognised for his talent and form by his country take up the option to play in a prestigious international tournament?!”….. weird

Not sure I agree on the temperament front entirely in the context of his time with us, I thought he displayed a level of cool-headedness in a dire situation that was quite admirable. He could quite easily have binned us off entirely and it wouldn't have harmed his reputation at the time at all, just chalk it up to us being a basket case, but he didn't.

I think it has to, the older legs looked weary today🐏🐏

archram reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Derby v Peterborough
Agree, fine margins today. Watched the replay back for the winning goal, Cashin took it off Nelson’s head (they were both marking the same bloke anyway which isn’t ideal) but I genuinely think if Cashin leaves that Nelson gets a better head on it to clear it away.
It’s been a good run, we’ve got plenty of ability in the squad and with some shrewd recruitment this month we can keep pushing forwards.

Not going to begrudge this loss. Two very good sides toe to toe today. Props to Peterborough they got us back for earlier in the season.

Oh well.
On balance I'd say Peterborough have been the better side this game.
I'm not going to grump about what's been a really good run that dragged us into the top 2 conversation.

archram reacted to CBRammette in 2024 - what will it bring us?
Happy new year all rams. Feeling excited for 2024 but what will it bring us? Feeling optimistic without feeling entitled and cocky about our chances. But the most amazing thing is that we've had a year where we've just discussed and disagreed about football so thank you to the Clowes family for that and long may it continue.
Also sending much love to @B4’s Sister, the rest of the family and all others moving into 2024 without a loved one for the first time. Such a difficult period and you're all in our thoughts. Hope the team gain promotion in their honour. COYR 🐏🐏

One thing that really impressed me last night was the celebration of the first two goal scorers. Fozzy quickly ran back to his own half, waving his arms to say "come on, get into position and let's go again". Thompson raced to retrieve the ball from the net to carry it back to the centre spot, almost pushing Bird out of the way in the process. Both seemed to be saying "come on, we're going to win this". Having said that, I enjoyed the celebration for Cashin's goal more 🥰

With @B4’s Sister's match thread record, it won't be long until we start seeing big money bids for her from other clubs. We need to get her tied to a long term deal.

What an awesome win yesterday against Oxford. I reckon that’s just the warm up for the match against Peterborough. Bring on the New Year bounce 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

archram reacted to Ramarena in Kane Wilson - Signed on a 2 year deal
Yep, all our successful teams at various levels have had these direct, pacey and exciting players, Wanchope, Dean Sturridge, Giles Barnes, NML, Russell/Ward, etc. They may not have been the top player in the team but they provided attacking spark.
They make plenty of mistakes, but they can also open up defences with a moment of quality.
