Personally, I would now give Warne 10 days to evidence he can galvanise and organise his dressing room combatants to produce 9 points from the next 3 games. 7 might be sufficient if we play in a more attractive style, but frankly Exeter, Stevenage and Northampton should not be a difficult run of fixtures to get maximum points if he selects the right team and plays to the players strengths. If he persists with his current tactics, win%, deluded after-match analysis, etc., we should be looking to appoint a new manager for the Crewe game.

The conversation for me now has turned rapidly into is DC willing to give Warne more time and why hasn't he already pulled the trigger if matters are that bad?
And what he will do differently with recruiting the next manager that he didn't manage to do with Warne?
All of which are question marks against DC as the owner not PW as manager. 

Not that I’m telling people what to do/think, but surely you do need to consider the basis as to why the different manager being proposed will get something better out of the same players.
I mean. Let’s pick Rowett for example. Many disliked his football and he had some pretty decent players compared to now. What is swapping to him going to result in different outcomes. Just “not being PW” is not a basis for such a choice.

How good is our squad?
If we had a top quality L1 goal scorer then excellent.
As we don’t, then just  fairly decent. (That’s how important that position is)
With injuries, creaking a bit.

We did alright under Rowett .  Ledley, Johnson, Winnall and Jerome kicking crap out of everyone with a bit of Vydra tearing people apart. He also quickly noted how dross Butterfield was.  I'd take it now. We scored goals and even outmuscled Warnocks goons. Warne would love Nugent in this team.

I'm not sure whether this thread is about fireworks, dogs or having a poo now.  So here's my contribution.

Dean Saunders, he picked up a ball from a clearance, against QPR and ran 2/3 length of the BBG pitch and scored, holding off Paul Parker who was meant to be the fastest in the top division at the time. I was in the popside, and everybody went bonkers 🙂 
 

Think Theo Robinson may technically be the fastest, as I'm sure I read he trained to be a sprinter but chose football instead

My take is they seem to be sorting themselves out a bit as a team and starting to be somewhat effective.
Carry on and they're probably going to be an efficient, if not beloved, team.
Somehow it always seems easier to forgive a pretty team, and Warne's not interested in being a pretty team.
A few convincing home home wins and everything will just have a different vibe.

b******* it’s about building momentum. If we get beat by these who probably will be a league 1 club next year imagine how awful the international break is going to feel.
