Best of luck to him ,, sometimes you get a player who just gets the club he’s joined , is proud to play for them , gives his all and is an honest solid pro ,, shinnie was that at derby , that said ,bringing players back rarely turns out great 

We played in the Championship for 14 straight years and with the exception of 1-2 years, the football was poor.
We’re now in League 1 under significant financial restrictions, with a hurriedly assembled squad of high profile free transfers and hopeful but inconsistent young players.
You might need to adjust your expectations.

We've enough in this squad regardless of the constant calls for a new striker, right back etc to get us 6th place.
Whether we'll win the playoffs is entirely another matter.

This is to be my next big adventure- going to a match on my own. I used to regularly but 3 years ago today I was undergoing surgery to find my brain and then to repair the haemorrhage in it! As well as suffering small physical and mental losses, I also lost a lot of confidence. I’ve been setting myself challenges although my partner and family are not very enthusiastic! With this game being so early it means I can be back in Bristol for 5.30 so it’s not too long a day.
I may spend the following couple of days in a darkened room! COYR
 

This forum is miles away from what is seen on match days. We have a squad where the excellent team ethics have continued from last season and have tremendous turnouts away from home. That attendances are down is not a surprise now we are in League 1 and also playing in competitions we had never heard of previously. The problems are in the mind of the poster but at least he has has kindly agreed its time to move on.

Hear! Hear! Well said @Brailsford Ram. I entirely agree. Warne is articulate, intelligent and measured. I have no doubt whatever that he’ll bring us success. As for “he should’ve had a low-key first week” - what utter tosh @i-Ram Most fans want to hear what a new manager has to say, what his plans and vision is, how and what he is going to do. It is what unites a Club behind the plan.

Probably deserves a thread on him but found this for starters.
So hope we get to tie him down to a longer deal in time, he was massively underrated by Owls fans and yet he’s flourishing here, now he’s a regular keeper.
This is his big breakthrough season and he’s got plenty of time on his side as a keeper. We keep finding decent keepers and Joe is going to be right up there.

You know when Morris nearly put this club into the Sunday league? Thinking owning Derby County was like a computer game career mode, buying players for silly money and ditching managers after a few games because it wasn’t “the derby way” this is what now supporters ( the ones that thinks Warnes time is up) still carry with them. 
 
Get behind the team, get behind the manager, has proven success and has undertaken a team of where he has not had a say yet. Get used to a rebuild and not expecting to be winning every game. We need to give warne time and for once not pretend we deserve to be 4-0 up every weekend.

Liam for style of play? I found it largely ponderous, bordering on Cocu ball which for the most part was boring. Too much possession and not enough real penetration. I for one am looking forward to quicker, exciting football.
