    He definitely deserves it.
He's managing to win games (and not lose against better sides) with a team of mismatched veterans and youngsters, while the club is essentially on fire behind the scenes, and he's somehow managing to do this while also getting us playing a more attractive style of football than last season.
More than we could ask for, and certainly more than could have been expected based on last season.

Fwiw I think the appeal is of merit. Let us not forget it is Administrators, men of accounting acumen, who are lodging this appeal. They will be tooled up to put forward a convincing case. The appeal is not on behalf of the Club either, as their responsibility is to get the best deal for the Creditors. The Club will look more of an attractive purchase if League One football next season is anything other than a certainty.

The weaselly self righteous  mantra they come out with is "to preserve the integrity of the league". Meanwhile the Premier league accepts new owners of  regimes that murder journalists for telling the truth, glad to see integrity being preserved there .

I think Chris Martin was excellent when he was in under 23s, worked really hard with young players. Likewise Fozzy on his road to recovery.
Anya and Thorne ' looked ' like they'd rather be elsewhere.
Obviously not ideal to have your high earners sitting in under 23s so this idea of an "almost"player who can stay there for the longer term is a good one.

I think Fozzy, who has taken a lot of stick the past few seasons has really stepped up to the plate in the last few games. Showing how much he cares. Deserves recognition for showing the young uns a real example. Showed his worth today when replacing Stearman.

Not done a thing wrong in two tough games. Strong shot stopper and safe hands with crosses. Quick to tell the defence to get out today as well.
    Looks a keeper!

I don't know if it's already been noted, but the atmosphere at the ground is so much better these days, as demonstrated at half time. Can you imagine any time in the recent past at PP or probably any other ground, a home team coming off the pitch without a single goal attempt, never mind not being booed, but actually receiving some applause from the home fans, well in the NE corner, anyway?
I think this positivity and togetherness can only help us through these difficult times and long may it continue.

Not the best or the worst performance ever. Stayed solid under constant pressure for 90 minutes and restricted them to very few if any real chances.
Probably the beat chance(s) of the game came to Lawrence who couldn't score with three direct shots.
Overall a well deserved and welcome point on the board.
We will be alot happier in the end than Swansea!

All that the report conveys is the same EFL stance regarding DCFC that was conveyed in the EFL's meeting in July with the FSA (Football Supporters Association). The EFL meets reps from supporter groups across the divisions, twice a year.
The meeting notes from that latest one have just been published, read here:
    tps://thefsa.org.uk/news/fan-reps-meet-efl-executives-july-2021/
Interestingly, the two clubs represented from the Championship were DCFC and Reading FC.
Credit to Pav from Punjabi Rams for putting the DCFC case. He clearly took on the EFL about the never-ending disciplinary proceedings, EFL attitude against Derby, the unfairness of the Derby <> Wycombe fixture-swap fiasco - but got told that no vendetta was proven, the EFL were transparent, they didn't control the duration of hearings, have to uphold rules, and blahh.
Pav achieved pretty much the same as what Birch recently dribbled out during the recent Ed Dawes interview and the podcast(s) - and he no doubt felt the same frustrations.
We will have to see how the DCFC Administrators marshall the facts, and stress the prolonged 'silent' punishments already inflicted by the timescale and EFL actions - like how the EFL unfairly applied their ' professional standing' and later, 'experienced players' squad  size rules to limit DCFC player recruitment/retention this summer - to help mitigate against further multiple penalties.

Yep moving the Bournemouth game has knackered my already booked weekend away and means I will be in Luton Airport awaiting my flight home instead of watching the game at 3pm on a Saturday. I'm not prepared to throw more money at spending a Sunday night in Derby and as I have no more holidays to take off work, for the Monday it is not an option anyway.
So on Saturday I'll go watch Matlock Town or whoever I can see instead. Yeah thanks again Sky Sports!

What really annoys me is when a weekend fixture gets moved to Monday. I have a season ticket and accept that I cannot make week day games as I don’t live in Derby during the week. But Monday night is not a weekend. I can manage a Friday night but Monday night is just infuriating.
duck off Sky. I hate everything about that company.

    Something weird happening here.
Wednesday night home match v Reading. The Rams on minus 2 points, in administration, without an owner and massive uncertainty over the future, against a poor team with a tiny away support and yet we had an atmosphere at times that was as electric as anything i've felt in my 50 years as a Ram.
Hairs stood up time as stood in the middle of the South Stand and heard the roar build up from the East and West stands, never felt that raw passion and support since the Baseball Ground years. No play off or promotion glory to get excited over, just survival, backs to the wall Derby support.
Proud af to be a Ram tonight.

Listen I have zero "skin in the game" as far as really liking Stevie Mac or Mad Mel, they both mean nothing to me, but the facts are, Steve was SACKED by Mad Mel more than likely because of his ego getting the better of him, he did not quit to go to Newcastle, he said on numerous interviews that he wanted to stay at Derby and Newcastle did not appoint him until Mad Mel had sacked him...
It doesnt matter what you "think" Stevie Mac was thinking or not, the facts are that Mel sacked him, so he had no job, so who can blame him for taking the Newcastle job..?

Great performance today, Forsyth won lots of headers and deserved a goal. To overcome his injuries and play like that... fantastic. Shinnie great as well.
The whole team looked more like a Derby side from a few years ago. Incisive passing, fluid, solid midfield and threat down each wing. Looked completely different to last season.
Fans were great. Some dodgy decisions against us. Looked a penalty to me! Should have been out of sight but 1-0 home win will always be welcome !
First home match in 18months. Loved it.

No … because he was wildly inconsistent. The type of fouls committed by both sides Vs those that warranted cards .. it was a disgrace. The card count us V them ? No way were they dealt consistently. Terrible performance. I’d love to see the assessors report .. It won’t be good.

Ref gave every 50/50 against us as per every game this season.(as per EFL instruction)  If anyone doesn't think that Reading would have got that handball penalty they should give their head a wobble !! More of the F the EFL chant needed on TV games for me !!! ??

Wayne ducking Rooney and all the players, take a bow lads. It's times like this when boys become men and men stand up and are counted. Against all odds, we're showing huge pride in the shirt and a steely will to win and doing it with a certain amount of style and panache too.
So ducking proud of them all tonight, each and every one.
