And so when we went on a good run in the middle of the season, were scoring goals, not conceding, winning home and away or at the very least not losing games? 
I get it, you don’t like Warne and his style of play. I can’t help you with that, I would say be a little more objective in your critique of him. 
He’s had some very good moments this season, and some very bad. His tactical awareness and in game management are frustrating to the point of almost non-existence, and his man management and motivation seems to be very good at times. 
We’ll never know if Rosenior would have done better so it’s a moot point to discuss that really. As it stands we are in with a chance of the play offs with games to go, both managers played a part in that along with the group of players. We were never likely to go up via the autos despite that mathematical possibility and little moments of hope through the season as Plymouth, Sheff Weds and Ipswich have more balanced and established squads than we do. To be in with a shout of the play offs is where we should be and is great, despite the rubbish performances of late, there’s still that chance we could go up. 

So what would you have done then different. We had 5 players in July with a bare pre season with a rookie manager who has never manged before and you get a guy with 3 promotions in 5 seasons who hasn't have a meaningful transfer window. Come on tell us what you would have done?

I know he was a real fans' favourite but a lot has changed since he was here. If he's been released by Bristol City, maybe he's got something he wants to go into or retire, I don't know.

They've got Plymouth and Ipswich in their next two games, we've got Morecambe and Wycombe. If they win those games then they're out of reach. If they don't, it's game on.
Either way, seems a tad premature to be giving it the big 'un . Last time I checked, the season didn't end until May ?‍♂️

I'm only coming back here to defend Derek Hales. I prayed he was going to be a fantastic player for us and always remember the cup game against Blackpool, how he gave his all to win that game. Fans gave him a hard time here for his four goals in 23 games, £280,000 or maybe £333,333 transfer fee when all the national papers clamored for England to pick him and we went and signed him ahead of many others. He played best with a target man next to him, Flanagan was the example, we never did that. After selling him to West Ham for £110,000 he did okay for them, 10 goals in 24 games and had a career record of 187 goals in 443 games. He'd have done well if he'd had Jordan Hugill up front with him. So there you are, stop it, never mention his name again when trotting out those Billy Davies's signings and Jeff Beck. Chalk and cheese.

The couple of mainly armchair Gumps I know are rightly pretty cocky right now, they’re in a semi final for the first time in ages and suddenly their phones can text messages! Even worse, they’re going to be in my locals in Ashby for the Leicester game, which could be interesting; lot more foxes fans likely to be there.
As for the attendance debate, your support is your support, whether you’re Gresley Rovers or Real Madrid there will always be fair weather or casual fans. It’s just funny to me, when you hear moaning about not being able to get tickets. If Forest made Wembley, I’m sure even Forest would find another 10 or 15,000 would appear; fortunately it shouldn’t be a problem for them.
I’m also far from convinced they have enough threat up front to stay up, but if they do beat Leicester, that table will give them a healthy cushion from the drop zone; at least a few games.
