europia reacted to May Contain Nuts in Warne: what would it take?
Getting promoted and keeping us up the following season.

His health is his own business really. Why should he or his Mrs have to share that with anyone?

europia reacted to IlsonDerby in Ed Dawes
Was just gonna say this. Maybe he’s ill, maybe there’s a personal issue he’s dealing with. There are many reasons that people don’t go to work. He is just a normal person after all, being on the radio doesn’t change that.

europia reacted to Gee SCREAMER !! in Ed Dawes
I didn't here it but believe he went into meltdown mode against Bolton. Perhaps the club have requested a cooling off period.
Alternatively, he seems to have got into the habit of doing things like reading texts and then telling people not to text in if that's their opinion. Not ideal for a fella doing the commentary.
Or maybe he's got a cold.

Spot on.
An ability to either keep possession or clear the ball from danger cost us 3 points, not the officials.

europia reacted to LeedsCityRam in Don’t be too dismayed Rosenier ball is still painful
Yeah, must be awful - I assume their goals for column being comparable with others in top 6 is a misprint?

It didn't have to be Warne and it doesn't have to be Rosenior. #Othermanagersareavailable

europia got a reaction from G-Ram in Who enjoys Warne's football poll?
I can understand that. L1 football is a tough watch at the best of times, and currently the Rams are not playing entertaining football. I suppose it can be tolerated if you're winning games and pushing for top two in the league. As things stand the Rams seem a bit bland and lacking direction.

europia reacted to littleover ram in League one Play off final 2024
When’s the 2025 League Two play off final?
-
europia reacted to Mckram in Referees
I thought she was great. Remember they don’t have VAR so that must affect their decision making knowing whatever they decide is final without any help.
When Collins was booked today we would have seen many of the other refs from League One send him off and totally ruin the game.
It made me laugh when our fans were moaning she didn’t let Hourihane back on the pitch after being injured…you have to be off a minimum of 30 seconds I think now after injury…often as fans we don’t actually know the rules but moan like we do!

Thought she was a good ref, loved it when she booked their player for asking her to card Cashin after he had fouled him.
got all of the major decisions right there maybe a hint of offside about the goal but too close to call on any replays I have seen.
Be happy if she reffed every week after the dross that normally officiates us

europia got a reaction from r_wilcockson in Can anyone actually name a single improvement Warne has done since arriving?
Actually no, but I do think he should be given until the end of the season.

europia reacted to StaffsRam in So who would we have then?
It's a shame that we didn't use the January transfer window last season. But for missing that opportunity, and then subsequently picking up injuries and getting increasingly leggy towards the end of the season, we'd have been a shoe-in for the playoffs. Whilst I don't think we were one of the top 3 sides in the division, anything can happen in the playoffs, so who knows what would have happened if we had made it.
This year, it's an easier league. No Plymouth, no Ipswich, no Sheff Wed, and somehow we're making it look like we're playing the likes of Man City and Liverpool week in, week out. The points return is, I'd say, a perfect reflection of where we're at, middle of the road. Unless something changes, and that isn't necessarily a change of Manager, it could be a change of tactics, a change of luck, a change in the quality of the officiating in our games, that's likely where we'll end up finishing the season. If that happens, then by any definition I don't think we can really class that as progress. We have a number of players out of contract next summer, I hazard to think who we'll be looking to bring in to replace those who'll end up going.
Seems to me that we have a number of round pegs that Warne is trying to bang into square holes. That ain't going to work. I'd just look at the players we have and build the system around them. Shouldn't be that way around, but for some reason we've recruited players not ideally suited to Warne's system, and given we can't really change the players until January at least, then we can only change the tactics in the short term.
The prospect of playing mediocre teams at home and being respectful to the point of surrendering the impetus to them, I'm not a fan of. Most of the teams in this league are s***. Disrepect them. We should be taking most of them to the f****** cleaners, not trying to hang on to 1-0 leads as though we're in the World Cup final. 1) We're no good at that. 2) The best way of defending a lead is from the front. 3) See my previous comment about most of the teams in this league being s***.
Full disclosure, I've had more than a few tonight, and that seems to have magnified my aggravation.

Mel tried that selling the club to people who claimed to be wealthy investors. It didn't end well.

Can't see much past an away win. They are in much better shape than us. Warne still has no idea what his best XI is.

europia reacted to RadioactiveWaste in Derby v Portsmouth Match Thread
Sibley has "absence ability improvement delusion syndrome" from fans.
The more he is absent from the team, the better his perceived abilities are.
He might yet make it, but delivering on promises has been where so many a gifted young player has evaporated.

I imagine and hope he says fck all and just quietly tries to get the best he can into the club.
