Consensual agreement with Boro and Wycombe? Why don't we tell the chancer bar stewards to do one? Paying them a single penny for their absurd claims would be a travesty and an embarrassment.

The shop changed ownership in the summer. It is now run by Fanatics and they use Hermes for deliveries on all their UK websites.
Its worth checking their other websites as they can be cheaper than buying from the Megastore site (also sometimes free delivery too).

Almost as ridiculous as forcing a team to play all their under 18s in a senior cup game, therefore registering them as senior players.

TBF, I'd heard of the second one.  Partly due to the fact that Keegan had gone there, so it was big news, and partly due to hamburgers still being a thing then.  I liked hamburgers!
The Malmo game will always be associated with personal memories for me... and not in a good way...as I watched it alone on a little B&W portable in a holiday chalet in Mablethorpe, as a 16 year old.
Very much out of character, Mum literally spent the whole week in bed with "tummy ache" (first time I'd ever known her to be unwell, and first time I'd known Dad go a whole week without laughing, or making someone else laugh!).  It took until the August Bank Holiday to find out the problem, by which time it was "too late to do anything about it", and the Big C took her away a couple of weeks later, in mid September.
A terrible, terrible year, in more ways than one, and I find it very difficult to hold back from blaming Trevor Francis for it all!  ?

Never thought after crooks like Maxwell and the amigos screwed us over it would be a 'fan' that actually landed us in this mess.
After starting the season off I can't believe Mel has pulled the plug so soon. Negotiations aside, which surely he knew would fail, why start it if you have no intention to see it through?
His commitment should have been seeing a season through. I imagine things would have been a lot easier, shifting players, staffing back up and potentially finding buyers during the summer. To not try and move players out during the summer and buy ourselves some leeway is nothing short of head in the sand (or clouds).
For me at the end of the day, there is a responsibility that comes with owning a club, you are the caretaker/guardian and nothing more. Obviously things were going out of control after the Lampard season, so why not reverse the trend then and there? Why throw crazy contracts at Cocu and co, why not re-sell Marriott, Waghorn et al with a year lor 2 left on their deals (especially as they had actually performed) - even if it's for a loss we would have got something and think of the wages we could have saved. Also it flies in the face of Mel's amortisation BS. Apparently players don't lose value quickly in the first year or so, but it drops sharply at the end of that, so he must have known they'd soon be worth millions less.
Could have gone into the season utilising Bird, Knight, Bogle and brought in players on vastly less than Lawrence etc, turning the finances round, catching up with some debts, and avoiding administration and a points deductions in tandem.
Aren't there signs all around the stadium - gamble responsibly, set limits, don't chance losses. Mel is either an egomaniac or a clueless businessman and the blame for all this falls nowhere but at his feet.
Right now he should apologise, throw £50m in to clear debts and leave the city/county/country/planet. If he can't do that he's not a fan.

I knew that some people who Derby owe money to have to be paid in full whilst others don't, but until this morning I didn't realise that people who are directly associated with football, such as Football agents have to be paid in full, whereas those not directly associated such as bakers or butchers only need to be paid in part. That is scandalous. What a dreadful rule.?

Will the Ram reacted to Ambitious in Mel put us in Administration because......
Mel made it sound like him putting us in administration was the best thing for the club. He really had the confidence to own up infront of the supporters and say that the best thing for Derby County Football Club was him putting us in administration.
No, the best thing for the football club would be him paying the debts of the football club and to find an agreement with the EFL. The best thing for him was to put us in administration, therefore taking the workload and liability away from him.
As it stands, we've incurred an additional -12 point deduction on top of anything else that we may pick up and seemingly something that could run for a few more years yet. Another story ran over night thinks we're due to receive a -21 (potentially another 3) this season. With a further 15 point deduction next year. We've also got a transfer embargo for two years.
We know that Buchanan, Bird, Sibley and Knight will be sold. I'm not too concerned about that as I think it's great they're getting out of this mess as they genuinely have a career and a lot of potential. As a Derby fan, I wouldn't want the club to be a weight around these young lad's neck and become the reason they didn't fulfill their potential.
Mel is the worst chairman this club has ever had, he's leaving the club in the worst mess its ever been in - arguably up their with one of the worst messes of any club in the history of the sport. A club without a stadium, which he owns, potentially soon without training facilities huge point deductions with severe transfer embargos that could sink the club into the League Two - similar to Bolton. I think they still own their stadium(?) although I'm not sure.
But.... he's doing it for us. What a truly wonderful guy!

Ever since it came to light that Derby was being ran badly and our owner decided to go into hiding, our fan base has been the only true shining light. Oh, and Rooney and the players who have been the most professional bunch of people to represent Derby County under ridiculous circumstances.
Tomorrow I'll be supporting my club, Wayne and the boys and hopefully 3 points.

Interesting take on it bud, but I'll reserve my ire for a bunch of 40 somethings who are so ducking inadequate that they feel the need to stomp a 17 yea old kid for taking the mick out of them. Really not sure singing, 'where were you at Wembley' is remotely offensive anyway. I'd imagine these 'hard men' all have tiny little, poorly-functioning ****s.

Pigeon hole the parachute payments specifically for paying off premier league contracts. Put it in a protected pot that can be used for no other purpose. Simples.
parachute payments are there so that clubs don’t have to be afraid of putting players on big expensive contracts only to get relegated and still have to pay them off with a fraction of the income. But they abuse the payments by buying even more expensive players, hoping they’ll just get promoted again within the 3 years. That’s not what parachute payments are for.
so it shouldn’t be too difficult to just clarify what the payments are for, and make sure they’re spent only on that.

The deadline for guaranteeing your usual season ticket seat is 8 September. Maybe they are waiting until after that to put Stoke tickets on sale.

I really don't understand why the club can't offer fans without a printer the opportunity to come to the ground a bit earlier and print there. I was on a plane the other day. At the airport they had a simple option of scanning your id in, finding your booking in the system and then being able to quickly print off your ticket. Doesn't need to be even this complex, a few laptops linked up to a few cheap printers would suffice.
I think some aren't bothering because they don't have printers but I think some might not be bothering because they feel like the club isn't bothered about them and appears to be unwilling to put simple solutions in place to help them. This I think has upset a lot of people and you can't blame them.
The club is a business and should be ran as such where the customer/fan is treated with kindness and respect. Sadly this is not the case right now.

Just a couple of weeks after this pic was taken the poor dog was taken poorly. After several vet visits and investigations, biopsies etc, they told us he had an incurable, genetic immune problem causing him severe pain.
After getting another opinion from a different vet the same diagnoses was given.
He went to sleep on Monday morning, grandkids inconsolable, parents and grandparents not far behind. He was not quite three years old.
