When did 5th on the grid in Formula 1 become P5 on the grid? And 3rd place tun into P3?
When did footballers start to have foot races to the ball instead of the more traditional race that must have been so confusing to everybody?
When did a new series on TV no longer come out, but drop?
And when did presenters stop covering all the stories so they could be across them all?
And when, or more pertinently, why, did British people start saying baby mama and baby daddy?
This is what 4 months without alcohol does to you. It sends you all bitter and twisted.
Name some more that I can wind myself up with.
Well done for giving up the booze mate, that’s amazing. 👏👏👏

Nazareth you say ......was he a Bad bad boy ? ......did he turn up on my White bicycle ?
I’ve heard he turned up on a Yamaha, did a skid, killed a kid and hit his head on a dustbin lid.

RIP Randy Meisner. The high note at the end is incredible - love his little smile at the end after he nails it.

Worth saying I thought Fozzy had a good game as well. He will definitely do a job when called upon this season. I hope he really enjoyed the day.

The "Collins isn't good enough" crowd have gone quiet. I expect they'll be out again soon, pointing out why this performance doesn't count either.
Is that 3 in 4 across pre-season so far? He’s in line for 34.5 goals this season if he keeps this up!

Birdy showing what he can do in the final third. Quality assist.

You’ll have to subscribe to my Onlyfans for that.

It’s such a shame he isn’t playing in Fozzy’s testimonial. Presume it’s because he’s training with another club. If Warne was remotely interested and Chrissy wanted to come home, you’d imagine he’d be taking a look at him.

Really wish i could make this but we’re on holiday. Hope Fozzy gets the love he deserves, what a guy.

Not too late to complete ferrie bodde for attacking mid....
I still feel cheated we didn’t sign Baggio. What’s he up to these days? I’m sure he still knows where the “sacchetto di cipolle” is!

Nice. When / where are the Franks playing? I’d love to see them again.
And is the Eagles tribute Talon? I saw them years ago and seeing them again later this year. I’m partial to a good tribute band, saw The Southmartins last month and they were excellent, the guy’s got Paul Heaton to a tee.

Sad to see him go, but it feels like the right time. He stayed around last season when he could have looked for a move, I’d like to think because he wanted to help us get straight back up, but he doesn’t want to spend another season in League 1. He’s been a credit to the club during his time here, all the best Jason.
-
Really pleased with this, he’s got bags of potential and seems to have a great attitude. I wonder if we might loan him out to get experience if we bring in cover, as he isn’t likely to play regularly unless injuries really bite.
Edit - just seen there’s another thread with potential loan chit chat on it.

Jeff King would be the only other Chesterfield player who could possibly step up but he’s a RB so not sure we’d be in for him.
As long as we’re not looking at his brother, Juan.

I can’t wait for this. I loved it today, I didn’t realise how much I’d missed going to PP. I think we’ll win 1 or 2-0, our defence should be solid.
