I reckon we’ll stick Bradley up front for the last 10.

I saw VM once, at the 25th anniversary special of Jools Holland. It was in the Albert Hall and Van played I think 3 tracks. He closed the show with Gloria which my dear old Mum loved, so that got me on my feet with a tear in my eye.
It was a superb night. The Foos were playing and we were just behind and to the side of Taylor’s drum kit. Also saw Paul Weller, Gregory Porter, Dizzee Rascal, KT Tunstall and a couple of random international acts. Fab night of music and the tickets were around £30!

Can’t say much about this. Absolute genius, just beautiful.

Great win. I like the look of Adams, hope NML’s foot heals quickly, CBT to come in, Bradley had a good game, Ward looked useful, Birdy had a cracking game, we’re in the top two. Happy days!

That’s some commitment from Cash! Amazing news and thank goodness for something really positive after yesterday.

Found out my cousin took his own life today…
3 years ago he had a car accident that left him paralysed from the waist down, knew he was struggling with it but not enough to do this.
RIP Jordan ❤️ having a beer for you tonight mate.
I’ve just seen this, I’m so sorry mate. I really hope you and your family are bearing up. x

For balance, my biggest bugbear is that we don't seem to be trying to address the midfield issues and yes, it is frustrating, even for the so-called happy clappers like me. While I'm pleased to see Blackett-Taylor join, I really think we need to be moving heaven and earth to get a dominant midfielder in, but if PW refuses to let the midfield play their game, then would another player even fix the issue? It's a worry, for sure.
Anyway, I'm not going to climb on his back as there's more than enough doing that already, but I honestly don't see how anything changes unless we address this issue. If we do, I think we'll make the autos comfortably. If we don't, then I'm afraid it'll be the lottery of the play-offs with a team that doesn't always prosper under pressure.
I agree. I think our biggest issue is tactically. Get it out wide and hope someone gets on the end of a cross. That’s literally all we do. It’s so one dimensional and we don’t seem to have an alternative. We occasionally play through the middle and look so much better for it - it happened a couple of times tonight and I commented on it to my lad, but it was very much a rarity.
If we’re not even going to try to play through midfield, who do we need in there? It’s got to be (a) players who can disrupt the opposition when we lose the ball; or (b) players who can score.
We don’t have any (a) players as far as I can see and it’s a massive hole in the squad. We need a nasty b@stard. The only goal scoring central midfielder we have is Hourianne. This means he has to stay on the pitch more often than not, even if he’s not playing well as he might get a goal out of nothing. We have to sort this midfield out and start playing through it.

You must be unlucky. Clear blue skies and not a hint of snow in Tamworth (just 7 miles north of Sutton Coldfield for anyone who doesn’t know the area).
Yeah, someone at work comes in from Lichfield and said it’s only Sutton that has snow.

Any snow in Derby? We’ve had a bit in Sutton Coldfield but not enough to cause any issues. Just thinking what time to leave tonight.

Very well deserved, congrats Paul and the coaching staff.

Didn’t enjoy that tonight, it was freezing and we were very poor. Sloppy from the start and we never got going. None of the players brought in played well enough to stake a claim for the first team. I just hope it’s a blip that doesn’t affect our league performances or confidence.
