  1. I love it that 80% of us just can’t grasp the concept of not changing the words to our new club anthem ? Even Stokies have managed to resist the urge to alter the words to Delilah!

Anyway as an intellectual and a hipster, I’m going to suggest ‘Blinded by your grace Pt 2’  by Stormzy.

Too niche I know. But its anthemic, almost in a gospel sort of way and although it’s about God it easily translates for how we might want to see a Derby team play.

And no one will have already claimed first dibs on it. It would be ours alone- as long as we can resist the urge to change the lyrics ?

Anything more than 3 and we'll keep fighting I think. It all relates to the EFL originally signing off the accounts and us signing players based on the previously approved accounts. If they'd challenged it first time around, we wouldn't have signed furthering players leading to an FFP breach.

@Carneroprobably said this twenty minutes ago but…

Estoppel got thrown out at the Sheff Wednesday hearing (the EFL wrongly advised / endorsed their actions).

I’m fairly sure that Wednesday didn’t have St Nick de Marco at that hearing.  As he’s on a retainer with us, if I were Mel I’d be doubling down.

The embargo doesn’t scare me.  Sibley’s gonna keep us up on his own.

  3. Anybody else had the thought cross their mind that Derby have released info to Percy to manage expectations?

Knowing we’re going to cop for a three point deduction, we use an unofficial comms route to indicate a 9pt penalty is on the table. Then bingo, a big reveal and the three point deduction doesn’t look so bad.

Expect a “brilliant rearguard action by Mel” narrative, so he saves face.

And expect a further six points suspended so the EFL save face too.

Season ticket holders, and those yet to renew paused season tickets, have their normal seats reserved until 48 hrs before kick off.

Seems an over generous period to me, but that's the deal.

Easy for you to say. I had my bank card in hand ready to renew my season ticket and get tickets for Saturday.

Then @Jourdantold me we were still poo and now I have no idea what to do ???

Defenders who should be on the antiques road show. Who's fault is that?

Maybe the manager just fancies older players?

Definitely not in a bi-curious sort of way. Definitely. Not.

I would expect he’s just attracted to the fact older ones will try to please that little bit harder as they know their chances of some action are limited.

Whats not to love? I think we can all get behind the idea of Phil Jagielka pleasuring Wazza for 90 mins every Saturday afternoon.

I’m in the WR out camp. Got a few spare tents left if anyone is interested

I’ve shelled out for a glamping pod. Seemed a worthwhile investment given we’ve got at least two more months of not winning before Rooney goes.

  7. Got to love some of the strategic thinkers on here.

Were massively short of attacking players. Hmmm let’s sell one who carries a goal threat because we can spend it on someone better! Double yay!!

Except we can’t can we? We can’t even use it to supplement a better wage offer to free agents.

Actually we’ve weakened ourself. Made relegation even more likely. And can’t effect any positive change to the squad.

I’d trust my tramp to run Derby better than some of of the posters on here ??
