Additionally I take umbrage with Warne’s post match comments that Sibley is ‘the worst tackler he’s ever seen’.

So why then did you move him to LWB after the Chester injury? A nonsense managerial  decision and not Sibley’s fault. Play to people’s strengths. What’s next? Play him in goal and berate him for being s*** at coming for crosses?

On an exciting night at Pride Park my personal highlight was my annual purchase of a Bovril.

I’m not a big fan but once a year or so I succumb to the idea of a beefy hot beverage. It was mediocre but still a highlight.

He’s well mate but has been acting very weirdly recently.  For instance he’s made a second bed in the shed, claiming it’s for his American mate Kris.  Apparently he’s coming over for a visit and can’t afford anything else.  God knows why he’s invited him though, apparently can’t be trusted and in no circumstances am I ever, ever allowed to lend him any money.

Old Trampie has just wandered out of the shed wearing a white bikini.  He looks hammered.

Trample has just wandered up the garden path asking if he can watch David Dickinson’s ‘Real Deal’ on TV later.

Of course he’s not allowed in the house (and he knows it), so no idea what he’s thinking.

This late in the window, it would take an eye-watering bid for Knight, something north of 8m for me.

Losing him derails our quadruple bid somewhat too and more seriously missing out on promotion this year would cost us around 8m. Hence the price.
