Amazing thread that I've somehow missed.

Glad to see everything is going well, hope it goes well with the fundraising and your little one goes from strength to strength.

For a baby thats rather poorly she’s an absolute inspiration... everything she’s gone through in the last 4 months and still smiles like this ❤️ Thank you ?

  2. Hi everyone, quick update... Clara has had another operation and is doing well! Our older daughter is doing a sponsored bike ride tomorrow to raise awareness and funds... if anyone could give anything we would be incredibly grateful. We are planning lots of fundraising events in the future and I’d love to be able to connect my love for Derby into it. Does anyone know how to go about getting players to sign shirts etc? Haven’t really done any fundraising before but want to give as much back as possible ?

    cheers, Chris ?

Not that I'm aware of mate. I'd probably push people towards either the club directly or Waterstones/Smith's when it's out there in a few weeks. Jeff Bezos and Amazon are doing okay for themselves already! But to be frank, I absolutely didn't do any of this for money or anything. It's basically just a little project I picked up outside of work hours that escalated further than I ever expected ?

Club shop it is then... you get your cut and the club get some funds for a striker! Really looking forward to reading it mate. Well done ?

This is the weirdest thread to be on the main board. A kind of "I told you it would all be terrible and look I've been proved right" type of thread. From the people who used to wear sackcloth and ashes and beat themselves.

I have zero time for Bradley Johnson because he was so unbelievably ignorant that he called us Derby City. He was an embarrassment to himself and an embarrassment to our club, for being stupid enough to sign him on a massive wage. And it was an embarrassment to watch him play as he was always the person on the pitch with by far the least technical ability.

He got lucky in the game against us and as a result he got lucky and won player of the month. So what? It doesn't make me any less glad he's an ex-Ram.

Absolute toss! You don’t get lucky and be player of the month! You can fluke a player or the match but player of the month?!

For what it’s worth I was quite happy to see him go but give credit where credits due...

  5. After reading a lot of posts tonight I felt I needed to say this somewhere and rather than post a new thread thought I’d drop it in here.

Every single person on here, no matter what their background is has one thing in common... Derby County. We all want us to do well at the end of the day.

In an age where people are encouraged to speak out about their issues, it’s disappointing to see posters ridiculed by others.

for me this is just a forum I look at passingly but for others it’s much more than that. This can really be a toxic place... especially after a loss!

i guess I just want to say be kind to each other, you don’t know what effect your comments can have on others.

Some things I’ve read on here tonight could be classed as bullying...Just treat others how you’d like to be treated.

    We’re all rams aren’t we ?
