Would anyone on here pick Bradley in the starting 11 for this game? Anyone?

Stop moaning you Plastics. Me and @Van der MoodHoover will make the slog there and back without complaint. Can you buy tickets on the day? I’ll watch it on TV if it’s rainy.

Polls have been disabled until further notice.
Can we have a poll to see how many are in favour of that?

30 months you have been posting on here, and you are not really getting it are you?

Hi everyone I been watching the Ram's since 1975 and I was listening to warne after the game at Charlton and he still thinks the players are not giving enough!
But I do not see him holding his hands up to say I got it wrong for changing the second half does anyone think the same.
Welcome Rammed. I look forward to some more posts from you. I am amazed you can listen to him. It’s up there with a cat going through a bandsaw.

Pragmatic would be getting the best out of your (supposedly) limited resources. Warne doesn't do that he sends a team out to, as he sees it. counter the opposition and hopes to get the best out of the players where-ever it is he plays them.
Why did Cashin start at left back and not Sibley who we know can play there? That would have been pragmatic. Instead we have to set up a formation to allow Bradley to play in a 3 at the back, why? That isn't pragmatic when we have played better playing a four of Nyambe Nelson Cashin and Fozzy/Sibley/Elder.
It isn't pragmatism at all.
I joked last night that Warne was scared of Bradley - I think it was @Anag Ram Who suggested he loved him.
When I said Warne was scared of him. I didn’t mean in a physical sense, I meant more of a relationship power fear. He brought Bradley to be his big summer signing, and his leader (although didn’t have the balls to name his captain). As we know he started poorly, and Warne had no option but not to play him. However, he got a chance to get back in with Fozzy’s injury and although he hasn’t been great it seems, he has had a couple of solid games. However, if you are playing a back four, which I think we should it’s Nelson and Cashin at the back every day of the week on merit. However, last night Cashin finds himself at left back. I think Warne is scared to drop him even though 90% of the fanbase would. I can imagine Bradley towering over Warne, saying don’t you even think about dropping me pal! It’s a perception, and I may be wide of the mark, but those are my rambling thoughts this lunchtime.

Yeah, but until those of you who feel so strongly opposed to Warne get organised and stage a protest, or take banners to the game, or pay for some flyers, or get a plane towing a banner to circle over pride park that’s not happening so rather than getting into that same circular debate I was just trying to look ahead to the next game.
I’ve just sent a strongly worded email.

Undone by two individual errors tonight.
Wildsmiths just plan stupid foul and a badly misplaced pass from Adams.
Missing Collins up front.
Onto the next one.
Undone by Warne talking pre-match that we are much the same as any team in the league, picking a ultra-defensive side to start in a home game against a long time winless outfit, and then (it seems) allowing Charlton to come at us second half because we can’t hold the ball for more than 3 passes. His game management skills are non existent.

75 minutes gone. We have had 5 shots, and only been in Charlton’s defensive third 19 times with the ball on the deck.
Once every 5 minutes.
And this is an improvement on previous performances.

Just finished a work project. I am thinking of investing a tenner to watch the last 15+ minutes. What do you guys think?

I think Warne will try to combine his love of Bradley in a 5-3-2 with a concession to attacking intent.
Think Gayle and CBT will be introduced from the bench and that the lineup will be
Wildsmith
Wilson Nelson Bradley Cashin Sibley
Adams
Smith Bird
Barkhuisen NML
I’m not sure Warne loves him. I think he is scared of him.

Yes i have to agree with you,to be honest i am quite nervous about tonight, there last two performances against Portsmouth and Bolton have been top draws
I suspect Warne will start with three at the back in a dull game and at half time change our shape, then say at full time he got the tactics wrong again.
We need to be picking up 6 points this week no excuses and go 4-3-3 and try and win a game instead of trying not to lose
He continues to present a small club mentality. He wants to be magnaminous, sure, but gods sake we are one of the 3 biggest clubs in the league, with one of the 4 best teams (arguably the strongest squad, if the backroom team could get them fit). Big us up Paul. We want to be better, the best, not considered similar to the other 23 teams.

'As a league, there isn't a great deal of difference between the teams'.
Well Paul, I have never managed or even played football at or above semi-pro level, but there is quite a significant difference in every league between the teams competing. Always has been, always will be. Take on board we are in the top 4 teams in this league, and act confidently accordingly.

Why if his remit is indeed to get us promoted but not necessarily within two years?
To stop our Rotherhamification. A 7th and 6th place finish will have been failure. He will only buy further players who are happy to partake in kick and rush.
It’s my opinion. No more. I am going to spend my day usefully elsewhere now. I will leave you to debate what constitutes contractual success.

Even if we finish as low as 6th and fail to make it through the play offs I wouldn’t be sacking him.
Nor would I. I would expect him to resign.

He's been fully rehabilitated despite all of his mocking of disabled people. He clearly has friends in high places. I think to be fair the last game he reffed us at PP, he had a quiet game but I do not trust him at all and believe he likes the "buzz" of the power he believe he wields in terms of being able to assert and impact events. A good ref in my book merely reflects events - but there are a great many who believe they can shape them without accountability and he is certainly one of them. I shall be watching him carefully.
What with you watching him and @Carl Sagans 150,000 (and rising) followers mobilising action, I suspect Madley won’t even turn up. Anyone know how the YouGov petition is going to have him sanctioned? Jeez you lot, he had one bad game once, 10 years ago. We can all have one bad day at the office every decade.

Really pleased to learn we won. Really pleased by the stats that I dint choose to watch it. A good 3 points. I don’t rate his style/tactics but well done Paul Warne for securing a crucial 3 points.

Ah, you mean that team that bullied us mercilessly in the reverse fixture? I know, why on earth would the manager feel we need to field our sturdiest defenders?
It's a mystery........
You, and Warne, may be absolutely right Crewton. 3 points is the target and I hope we get them, but this is another game that doesn’t bode well for any decent football. As well as packing our back line with sturd, we again seem very happy to concede midfield before a ball is kicked. Enjoy the game. I will save my money for tomorrows highlights package.

Warne has lost the plot again. 4 big defenders and Elder, and Adams shielding. Can’t see Bird having much of the ball.

Interesting, and reasonable, observations on Financial Fair Play and Premier League profit and sustainability rules of the wealthy co-owner of Crystal Palace:
Let me say something else about [chairman] Steve Parish. Do you know how hard it is to do his job?
Look at Nottingham Forest. This is a club with an owner that has an incredible amount of capital. And he comes in the Premier League and he's told you can't spend it. If you spend it and it falls into a category of losses then we are going to sanction you and we may send you back to the league you came from.
It's not about financial sustainability, it's not about financial fair play, nobody is protecting the little guy. This is [expletive]. This is people making sure that you can only spend a percentage of your revenue.
Steve has to run his club with a top line of revenues which is driven by television. If we want to put in a bunch of money to buy more players we're not allowed to.
So you have to watch your losses and you have to find a way to live between the eighth spot and 17th spot or you go back to the second division [the Championship].
If anybody thinks that I have a problem with the way that Steve is running the club, and [how he] has stayed up for 12 years, just because we have difference of opinion on things... try being Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis right now.
He is of course right. He just picked a bad example of the issue as no one cares about Forest 😂
