CBT has all the hallmarks of being a summer signing that we were given the option of bringing in a bit early. We knew he wouldn't come in and instantly be up to Warnes idea of match fit, but if you're given the option to have one of the leagues most dangerous players as an impact sub while you prepare him for next season, you take it. We've laid it into Warne and staff for not having the options to change games from the bench, and now we do. He hasn't done it yet, but he'll come good. Barks hitting form just as he gets fit doesn't help either.

What's stood out to me is how he's got an eye for a pass that very few of our forwards have. There's been a couple of times that he's picked out NML in!

dangerous positions that caught me off guard and I genuinely believe next season him and Nate could be scary together.

Barks hitting form just as CBT gets match fit might be no co-incidence!

An extra benefit of the increased competition.

Not at all confident about this based on 1) how well we play when we have a big crowd 2) how atmosphere often worse with big crowd and 3)how well we have played in these sorts of big games.  Hopefully for once will be happily surprised and it will be like the Brighton play off game.

There's only one of those that we can affect.

So the Wycombe money for this is being pumped in by a Georgian billionaire with links to sanctioned Russians.

Wycombe are simply disgusting. Extorted us during admin when we had no means to defend ourselves and now this? Utterly revolting. If they ever find themselves in trouble I'll have no sympathy for them.

I wouldn't have any sympathy with their owner but I would feel for their fans. They have little control over that, just like us.

Ones that are past it and the ones who aren't experienced enough that will end up back with the U23 team not sure if you watch a lot of championship football the levels much higher than league one

I think you are being asked to give examples. You know, real players who currently play for Derby County.

Do you know any? Do you ever watch Derby County?

Could be wrong, but I thought at the time the second yellow was for his reaction when he sprinted towards the ref in frustration rather than the tackle

I was too far away from the second booking to add anything of note (being up in the Captain’s Club celebrating my birthday) but the first booking the ref had already spoken to him twice, so it seemed inevitable the yellow card was coming out for the next foul.

Yiadom didn't learn anything from this and continued to contest every decision,  he was clearly on borrowed time. Gives the referee a decision to make.

I would suggest Joe Worrell to if Bekistas don't sign him and give him £40 000 grand plus a week

£20 000 grand a week would be happy and £20 000 a week for MacKenna both would be worth it in the championship

Tried a tested that gave went up same as Allan Campbell we need a few like that around, but im also into taking a chance on a few other dark horses that haven't had the experience yet in the league but have more football than most people there age in England

You obviously don't know anything about Derby County, though, if you think we'll be paying anybody £20,000 a week soon, Championship or not.

What happened, I was in the seated area but across towards the away terracing, never saw anything untowards but it seemed something might be going off further along the stand.

Blokes abusing the Bristol Rovers fans, chanting paedophile at them, picking on young kids, then crawling across the netting to get at them when WE scored our second.

They were 7 or 8 stood in about 5 places, meaning the people behind them had to move as they couldn't see a thing.

At no point were these blokes watching the game. They were facing the opposition fans. They were just there looking for trouble.

I'm sorry but I sing all game, didn't grumble when the spillover fans fell on to me, but personal abuse like that is just too much.

Tell me about it. Those blue noses pelted us in the South Stand with bottles, coins, ripped up seats and god knows what. Absolutely awful. Disgusting thugs. Many of them had no intention of watching the football. I'm all for a laugh and trading insults. Physically hurting people is definitely crossing the line. It's a shame because it will put off the club ever truly filling up the ground because of morons like them.

You ought to have seen some of our lot at Bristol Rovers! Every club has them.

I’m going to this, my first attempt at an evening game since the brain haemorrhage 4 years ago.

if you’re in the west stand could you keep the noise down please? I’m usually barely awake by 8.30 so I’d be grateful if you didn’t wake me up just to watch a game of football.

    Thankyou!

Hope it goes well and you're rewarded with a resounding win.

I promise not to celebrate too wildly!

Starting line up for the game.

Is anyone going (@angieram) and try and do a bit more digging on who this trialist is?

Sorry, didn't see this. I arrived late and didn't get a team-sheet but was lent one and @Ghost of Clough is right. Played in number 8 role until Robinson went off then dropped back to the more defensive role. Looked decent but not much understanding with rest of team, of course.

I thought we were a smidgeon unlucky not to get a draw at least. We peppered their goal second half and their goalie made some good saves.

  11. 1Wildsmith 7 Good handling and positioning; drove their forward wide when through without giving him the chance to go down. Better.

35Nelson 7 Solid, struggled to find Sibley with the long balls! Kept Martin quiet, no easy feat.

5Bradley 7 Solid, was getting fouled on set pieces by their number 22 but didn't reciprocate and kept the ball in play. Seems more settled.

23Ward 7.5 Such high energy, a few crosses a bit too strong, but impressive and defended well when he had to.

6Cashin 8 Solid defensively, plus great long-range distribution. Classy.

4Hourihane 7 Looked fresher than recently,  I thought a bit casual with some of his distribution first half but grew into the game and read their attacks well second half, cutting out several dangerous moves.

32Adams 7 Great cover, tackled well and didn't get involved in any argy bargy. Still gassing out too early - might only be fixed next season.

27Blacket-Taylor 6 little time to impress.

12Smith 8 Thought he was great when he came on - strong and quick. Looks determined to stake his claim on a place. Unlucky with the shot that nearly knocked the defender over.

17Sibley 7.5 Wingback suits Sibbo and he was strong both offensively and defensively. Would have benefitted from better service of the ball in front of him on occasions. Some good tackles that ref got wrong! 😉

11Méndez-Laing 8 Surprised to hear some criticism of him around me at the game yesterday - I thought he was at the heart of all our good creative play.

10Waghorn 7 Worked hard, missed a good chance but made amends with his sitter.

16Thompson 6 No time to impress.

25Gayle 7.5 What an intelligent footballer we have, but works hard too. His link up play is excellent and he's settled in so quickly. A poacher's goal too.

2Wilson 7 Thought he added  a bit of unpredictability when he came on and plays with a smile on his face.

7Barkhuizen 8.5 His best game in a Derby shirt? Certainly his second half was excellent and created the situation that led to the first goal as well as scoring the second.

Warne - well done, I thought he might have snook in an extra midfielder and gone two up top yesterday, glad he had the courage not to. If I'm being picky, could maybe have got Smith and Waghorn on a smidgeon earlier.

It was the quarter final of the FA Trophy so a pretty big deal. And now through to the semi-finals.

Well done Dajaune! Great he's found his scoring boots. Looks really promising.

Dajaune has strength and power. I always felt he was a little reluctant to use it.

If this loan allows him to feel more comfortable doing so, he's going to be some player.
